Modern Rakdos Wither

This deck was built with for a more Casual and/or Multiplayer setting. The objective is to use Elementals with Wither to place -1/-1 counters on opposing creatures, triggering a bug infestation with Nest of Scarabs

Creatures:

• Ashenmoor Gouger is a fun Elemental that takes advantage of the multiple buffs present
• Ashenmoor Liege gives extra power to my creatures and is a pain to remove from the board
• Corrosive Mentor is essential to provide Wither to those who don't have it
• Flamekin Harbinger tutors for a puzzle piece, usually a Liege or a Mentor
• Necroskitter makes creatures that die with -1/-1 counters on them join our ranks
• Smokebraider is an important ramp source for our Elementals

Non-creature spells:

• Fists of the Demigod grants the combo of First Strike and Wither and a +2/+2 power up
• Inquisition of Kozilek spies on and picks apart the enemy hand
• Terminate is simple but effective removal
• Sign in Blood gives more cards to play with
• Transmogrant's Crown gives crucial power for more counters and damage. It also makes a slain creature equipped with it refund itself
• Nest of Scarabs is our second win-con, creating an army of bugs that replace themselves when paired with Corrosive Mentor

Sideboard:

• Black Sun's Zenith and Soul Snuffers can be used for extra counters and bugs. They shine in Multiplayer games
• Relic of Progenitus negates graveyard strategies
• Torpor Orb annuls ETB effects
