Mono-White Martyr Life (Modern MTG Deck)

this is my version of the traditional mono-white soul sisters. The black is splashed in for the flashback cost of Lingering Souls. Try and always have a 1 drop life gain engine in your opening hand and always try to play a turn 2 Ajani's Pridemate. If your opponent has a lot of blockers, use Loxodon Warhammer and attach to Ajani's Pridemate.

Due to the ever-evolving meta, I have tweaked my Orzhov B/W Martyr life deck and removed all the black out of it. The black I think was slowing the deck down. I have now placed back the 4 Ajani's Pridemate with the 4 Squadron Hawk to help give its early game more speed. The new results are surprisingly more consistent than the other build I was developing with the black splash. The lifelink and first strike was just not enough to cut through a lot of my opponents decks. This version might be more simple looking but it has more early game responses and is producing much more consistent results!
