A storm deck with a lot of potential! Vadrok, apex of thunder mutate effect never states to exile the noncreature after, meaning with cheap mutate cards (EX: parcelbeast, lore drakkis, or sea-dasher octopus), and a single manamorphose, you are already losing nothing! With 2 vadroc, apex of thunder on 1 creature, and a manamorphose in grave, you begin major mana profit, with free card draw! Birds of paradise is included as a quick mana ramp, along with a quick target for mutate (Sea-dasher octopus suggested as it is a 2/2 flash, which protects the birds of paradise a little more, along with giving it flying)! desperate ritual is mainly just a quick boost into manamorphose, as you could then cast Vadrok, apex of thunder relatively easily, or mutate with a spare mana. expansion//explosion is included as a copier for mana accelerants such as manamorphose and desperate ritual, along with a quick mana sink for any possible late game or massive amounts of mana (Quick tip: you can use expansion//explosion to copy your opponents stuff too. Use that opportunity to keep it as a backup counterspell against control). Silence is a all together amazing anti-counter card, and controls opposing storm decks!
In the sideboard, I chose all noncreatures that can easily be sent to the grave, that have effects that help in many matchups! Path to Exile is run as an anti-eldrazi, and anti-hate measure, with other uses. Aether Gust is being run to help counteract agro, decks like soul-scar mage, and hate such as Scab-Clan Berserker. Echoing Truth is a very good countermeasure to tokens, agro, and most decks that require mana dorks in order to run. Last, but definitely not least, Aura of Silence! Aura of Silence doubles as a stax card to screw over all those Urza and Affinity decks, whilst having built in artifact/enchantment removal, that is recastable with Vadrok's mutate trigger!
UPDATE LIST:
5/27/2020: Added some basics to contest Blood Moon fears, replaced Expansion // Explosion with Hidden Strings as another target for for Vadrok, apex of thunder, and another mana accelerator! Added 2 Jeskai Acsendancy to filter out the garbage, and get some untaps, with the backup plan of Vadrok beatdowns being more realistic!
