Hi! After playing Magic for two months with a pre-made deck, this is my first own deck that ive made.

The idea is to cipher as much as possible with my Invisible Stalker in order to trigger Guttersnipe and Gelectrode. having Curiosity out on either Guttersnipe or Gelectrode lets me draw additional cards while Hidden Strings is untapping my lands again so i can cast even more spells (which means more damage).esp. the combination with Hidden Strings and Izzet Boilerworks is just awesome, since it basically lets you play the spell for free and still having the option of (un)tapping another permanent

Alternativly i can play the niv-mizzet + curiosity for a combo win.

Grapeshot can be used either as a mid-/lategame finisher or as an early aggression to kill creatures that might threaten me in the early game

i havent thought much about my sideboard yet: lots of my friends play with many artifacts that why shatter is in. aetherize comes in handy especially when i play against token-decks

I am reanimating this deck and made some changes. I swapped Last Thoughts with Trait Doctoring. So instead of that low 4 mana spell i have a quick "cipher one drop" that can also fix my mana base.

dropped the two Niv-Mizzets, because they weren't a real finisher after all. i added Sentinel Tower and Firemind's Research instead which support my overall cipher theme better.

Dragonshift for some (defensive or offensive) suprises, Mizzium Mortars for some boardwipes.

And i cut out an island and a mountain. Hope this one won't backfire and i'll still be having enough mana.
