Someone once told me I couldn't just build all of my standard decks around whatever new janky red card gets printed each set. But screw them.

I bring you Imminent Doom control. Let's make Bolas proud.

The deck is mainly just an Izzet Tower deck, with the energy and Dynavolt Tower replaced with Black and Imminent Doom.

Card Choices

Shock: played over Magma Spray because my meta isn't too zombie heavy, and because you really need unrestricted targets for 1 cost spells to tick up the doom

Fatal Push: Not only great, but also has minimal target restrictions, target an Ulamog if you're desperate, or target a Spell Queller, and ping a warrior to trigger Revolt. Spicy.

Cut / Ribbons: The reason the deck works. Ribbons can either be used to skip a CMC you can't find, or you cast it for 4BB and deal 10 damage to face!

Glorybringer: Not nearly as good as Torrential Gearhulk, but budget.

Sideboard is built for my meta, and lands are just what I have.
