This Deck is a Take on my Modern Naya Build I've been running for a while the replace cards are
Soul-scar mage = Goblin Guide (not really tho lol but sorta)
Play with fire = Bad Lightning Bolt or Lava Spike, better shock
Searing Blood = Searing Blazes little cousin hehe
Lightning Strike = Lightning Bolts worse cousin who's related to Searing Spear but at least related to Incinerate
Feline Sovereign = Knight of Autumn and cat friend Qasali Pridemage type stats
Eidiolon = personally it's a toss up for me just how I'm feeling could be Qasali Pridemage or Keldon Marauders for me Eidiolon does get hard to cast but not always and he is great against storm or other creature tempo style decks that dont curve out far so. Early eldrazi and early tron Great Revel she is still really good and I favor who he replaced if any remembers? Hellspark Elemental! Good value.
Sideboard
Cast into Fire = Shattering Blow
Tibalt = Stop the life gain, my meta IRL no life gainer decks so I use x3 or x4 volcanic fallouts Nacatl survives, Swifty survives and it cant be countered important 2 DMG sweeper in a creature heavy meta
Borrowed Time = Walker Hate
I never really liked planeswalkers as they have become 2cmc I win cards...looking at you new Ajani players @.@
Bloodbraid elf = for the Counter spell match-ups ;)
I've made it to Diamond Tier 1 on MTGA with this list.fun grind had to adjust the mana base many times
Built souly from unlocking cards over time. IRL I own these Paper Gems very fun plays at the locals
Fun! pretty fair, unless you're first with 3 creatures and atarka, helix or both off the draws. Love this style of play. GGz
