This is a post rotation deck (7/31/14 Update: Except for Goblin Diplomats which I really want to play).
The deck aims to control the opponent's board with Polymorphist's Jest and Turn to Frog. These two instants couple well with
Circle of Flame
, Goblin Rabblemaster, and
Siege Dragon
.
Circle of Flame + Polymorphist's Jest
will wipe an incoming attack.
Goblin Rabblemaster
+
Turn to Frog
will kill any blocking creature with the Goblin token.
Polymorphist's Jest
+
Siege Dragon
is the end all combo. Generator Servant is in the deck to help expedite the playing of
Siege Dragon
Bident of Thassa
+
Circle of Flame

Polymorphist's Jest
or Circle of Flame

Goblin Diplomats

Polymorphist's Jest
is a total board wipe, especially after your opponent has seen your trick.
Other than that combo we have Dissolve and Magma Jet to help remove any pesky cards and help scry.
Quickling is a great counter for protecting your Goblin Rabblemaster and
Siege Dragon
.
Flame-Wreathed Phoenix
is an affordable flyer who I believe is an underrated creature.
Jace's Ingenuity is the best card draw for this deck. Firstly, you need mana available for you tricks, so the strength of being an instant makes it viable. Also, while expensive, you get 3 cards for 1 card. Lots of player look at the mana cost, but I like the card cost ratio of Jace's Ingenuity way better.
Hour of Need
is for your goblin counters. After your opponent figures out your trick, he'll let the 1/1 goblin through over losing a creature. By turn 5, you can replace em with 4/4 flyers.
Spellheart Chimera is a cheap flying/trample creature who scales well with all of the deck's tricks.
It's tough to playtest the deck because it's control, but I think you'll find it to be pretty cool. Unlike a lot of control decks that are centered on getting to late game, this control deck is faster and way more fun.
