Casually Dead [Intro]

A Casual Zombie deck aspiring to make it in Modern. I love tribal decks and the Zombie tribe has always intrigued me. Being fast and recurring, with tons of value in each card they do bring apocalypse.

My aim is to make this deck as powerful as I can in Modern - which in turn will make it more than adequate for casual play. I want to hear feedback and advice in order to buy the necessary cards to make this a top Zombie nightmare.

The deck list represents the deck in it's current paper form - Although I don't mind buying a couple of expensive cards I don't have an unlimited budget, so please keep that in mind when making suggestions!!

[Objective]

Simple; to be competitive in Modern, whilst playing something I truly enjoy and feels unique enough.

I aim keep curve low and play creatures with extra value to them as well as a bunch of lords to buff them up and add a good mana sink in terms of abilities.

Removal

Main board: 4x Fatal Push for creature on board and 3x Inquisition of Kozilek and a Thoughtseize for threats in hand (creatures or not). Liliana, Untouched By Death’s [-2] ability can also be used as creature removal in a pinch as well as Liliana, the Last Hope's [+1] giving a creature -2/-1 can help!

Sideboard: Tons of removal (possibly too much) Collective Brutality all around removal and can perform 2-or even 3-in-1 specially if you have some Gravecrawlers in hand. Classic Duress against control, Go for the Throat for decks with big creatures in it and Surgical Extraction against combo decks.

Creatures:

One Drops:

Gravecrawler is excellent for discarding effects. With every creature being a zombie, it can be bought back at virtually any time. It can’t block, but that’s hardly a draw back with many other cheap creatures in the deck, if Smuggler's Copter is in included the deck, Gravecrawler can be used to crew it and block and also be discarded from hand.

Cryptbreaker brings great value for a single mana. Slamming it turn one and discarding Gravecrawler is amongst the best ways to start a game with this deck. Even discarding others zombies or spells we do not want there is still value in making tokens specially with lords in play. Additionally, Cryptbreaker also gives the option to draw cards, allowing the deck to push us over control decks by generating card advantage and making tokens.

Dread Wanderer is a very slow version of Gravecrawler. It comes in tapped and cost 3 mana to return from the grave tapped… Furthermore, it can only be bought back if you have one or fewer cards in hand, also, because it goes straight to the battlefield it doesn't trigger Diregraf Colossus for an extra token – As we want a fast deck, I don’t like this card too much. However, feel free to comment and change my mind if you feel it should be included in the maindeck.

In Progress..

[Help Needed]

I've include 2x Cavern of Souls in the Deck.

I now have 6 non-swamps lands in the main deck which might make it difficult to cast spells.. Most of my sorcery/instants are only one swamp to cast and Cavern of Souls adds a swamp when casting Zombies, so maybe not so much of a problem?

To help with that I also added a Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

Is this enough? Any suggestions? - Maybe take out 2x Multavault?
