B/G delirium is currently one of the best decks in standard. Liliana, the Last Hope, Grim Flayer, and Ishkanah, Grafwidow , make up the core of the deck. Sure other cards can support them, but those cards ARE the deck.

Now, Grixis Dredge is not currently one of the best decks in standard. However, I view as one of the most fun decks in standard. This deck is supported by Prized Amalgam, Haunted Dead , and Scrapheap Scrounger. Again, other cards hold them up, but most decks run a playset of all three of these.

SOOOOOOOO, we have power and price on the one hand, jank and relatively budget on the other. Then, I thought, why don't we mix these decks together to make a hanky, semi-competitive delirium reanimator deck that utilizes Mindwrack Demon and Grim Flayer to their true self-milling potential. Therefore, I present: B/G Delirium-ish

This is, as stated above, not a strictly delirium deck. Delirium is merely an underlying them. Therefore, unlike most delirium decks, this is an aggro deck, not a control or midrange deck, and does not accomplish delirium on the third turn. However, it is easily obtainable, and provides a huge advantage. The deck plays around Grim Flayer making contact and pitching Haunted Dead , Prized Amalgam, and Scrapheap Scrounger.

Because the "best case scenario" is very difficult to portray due to graveyard jank, it cannot be described in full detail.

Ideal Curve: Short-er Game

Turn 1: Blooming Marsh, Gnarlwood Dryad .

Turn 2: Forest, Grim Flayer.

Turn 3: Grim Flayer, pitch Haunted Dead and hopefully Prized Amalgam, recur and madness Alms of the Vein. If attacks have been continuous, opponent should be at 10.

Turn 4: Mindwrack Demon , hopefully hit delirium, swing with the team for another 10. Good games!

Ideal Curve: Long-er Game

Turn 1: crypt breaker or Vessel of Nascency .

Turn 2: Use the vessel, Cryptbreaker , and/or Grapple with the Past to set up delirium.

Turn 3: Autumnal Gloom  .

Turn 4: Mindwrack Demon , obtain delirium, flip Autumnal Gloom

As the game progresses, activate your vessels and Cryptbreaker s, trigger Autumnal Gloom  , the recur everything for game or win with Nissa, Vital Force.

Essentially, just jund 'em out without the whole "red" part.

So, I am prepping this deck for FNM and Game Day Aether Revolt, and I would like to make the deck more consistent and competitive. So, I was wondering which of my deck I should use to maximize my effectiveness.

Devilish Vampire Budget

or

U/R Nuclear Reactor

or

The Iron Giant

Anyways, I appreciate any input and I am trying to keep it relatively budget. I need some sideboard help, and remember to include cutting options when suggesting cards. I am very flexible, and if you can convince me to add blue or red, I'd be glad to. Thank you for any feedback and upvotes and for taking the time to check out my deck. Happy gaming!

First of all, I was devouring Magic content when I came across Seth Manfield's article on the top 10 decks in standard. Represented among them were Black Green Delirium Aggro and Red Black Zombies. See, when something like that happens, it just proves I know what I'm doing with the deck. You can find his article on tcgplayer.

Anyways, I was browsing decklists, and I think that this deck could benefit from some blue, whether in the sideboard or mainboard. I would have access to Scour the Laborotory, Stitchwing Skaab, and Advanced Stitchwing. I'd also be able to play Forgotten Creation, Ceremonious Rejection, and be able to cast Prized Amalgam.

Also, I am considering adding red to the list. I could play sweet madness spells and Insolent Neonate, Furyblade Vampire, and Olivia, Mobilized for War as some of my fast creatures and then including Lightning Axe and Fiery Temper as my removal suite.

Thanks for reading and please give me your thoughts on these deck changes.
