Nissa and Kytheon, ultimate team?

Since I've now pulled 2 Nissas and 2 Kytheons Id figured id build a deck with them. So far this is what I've come up with.

Building this deck for post rotation.

Suggestions are welcome :)

What do you want to do with the extra lands from Nissa and the Sword? You only have cheap creatures and no mana sinks, so those 2 don't seem to fit with the rest of the deck.

You may have a point, the idea is to filter out the land with Sword of the Animist to increase the chance of drawing more creatures/spells. Nissa helps with that by providing additional card draw. Land from Nissa goes straight onto the board while everything else goes to my hand. Though I probably should consider some larger creatures.

You could also look for manasinks, like Hangarback Walker. He's good when played for 2 mana, but if you have more mana he just gets better. That way you always have something good to do with your mana.

Other options could be Warden of the First Tree, Fleecemane Lion or Boon Satyr. Some higher costed cards could be a couple of Ajani, Mentor of Heroes and a single Elspeth, Sun's Champion.

Other value cards are Valorous Stance, Elvish Mystic and Courser of Kruphix (if you go with higher costed cards). Cards you can replace would be Tuskguard Captain, Abzan Falconer, Citadel Castellan, Mighty Leap, Center Soul and Enshrouding Mist.

Thanks! I'll look into those card, theres some I'd rather not use since they will rotate out within little more than a month from now. But good suggestions nonetheless.

No problem, it's mainly to give you the idea what to look for when you want to add flexible cards that are good early but also have a function later. Selesneya aggro is a competitive archetype at the moment so it can do really well, and when those cards rotate you can look for similar options.

Another idea would be to splash black to make it Abzan Aggro, giving access to cards like Rakshasa Deathdealer, Herald of Torment, Siege Rhino, Anafenza, the Foremost (if you encounter those Rally decks), Sorin, Solemn Visitor, Abzan Charm and other black removal.

As was said, late game mana sinks are something you need. Hangarback Walker or the Dragonlord Dromoka in the maybe board are good options. Hidden Dragonslayer and Knight of the White Orchid can probably go into the SB as they are much more situaional. I'd also go up to 4 each of Den Protector and Deathmist Raptor, if you have the money to invest
