Sideboard

This is the first Modern deck that I have ever built and seriously tried to compete with. I picked this deck because I really like Dreadhorde Arcanist , and I stumbled upon UR Rhinos one day when I was scouring the internet for a good deck to build.

And now, we're here! This is a mostly optimized Modern deck, basically only missing Scalding Tarn s. Izzet Rhinos is mainly a tempo strategy - try and land Crashing Footfalls early, then start putting pressure on our opponents by slamming them with 8 power of trample damage each turn until they concede.

To newer players, this deck won't make much sense. How can I cast Crashing Footfalls without any access to ?

The answer lies in alternative costs.

We can cast cards without a mana cost (Footfalls and Ancestral Vision ) by using one of our enablers. Dreadhorde Arcanist can cast it for free on attack, Electrodominance allows us to cast it on the end of our opponent's turn (which is huge against Force of Negation , and As Foretold can straight up let us cast it without doing anything fancy.
