clayperce it makes me happy to hear I inspired you to make your own twist on it. There are some cards you have that I tried to run like Wyleth, Soul of Steel and Merry, Esquire of Rohan that didn't run quite how I wanted them to. But I do like Fighter Class and counting Path to Exile as ramp.

Awesome dude! I am also working on Dragon Ball deck aswell and found yours looking for inspiration! I want to use one of the new cards maybe Thalia and The Gitrog Monster as Goku and Vegeta. I thought using Wyleth, Soul of Steel as Future Trunks was a great idea and I was bummed I hadn't thought of it!

Hey thanks for the kind words! I dig your playstyle when it comes to your modern decks. I think an equipment commander deck would fit your style perfectly, and both Koll and Akiri are great choices. Wyleth, Soul of Steel is another one you might consider.
Personally I think Akiri has the best mix of versatility and power for a budget build. I think Koll could be super strong as a combo deck with high dollar pieces like Phyrexian Altar, but a budget variant might struggle against the typical Commander pod.
Here's a budget Akiri list I threw together for you: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/mockup-budget-akiri-list-for-whiteeagle_12/?cb=1659486838
It's a little weird (tries to win via combo rather than damage) but I think you might get a kick out of it.

I was playing a game where Ob Nixilis Reignited had activated his ultimate. Wyleth, Soul of Steel attacked and had a total of four auras and equipment attached. Wyleth could do enough commander damage to kill me but he had 8 life left. His ability forces him to draw cards so do I win because of the emblem, do they win because of commander damage, or do they both happen simultaneously so it's a draw?

Hi_diddly_ho_neighbor Those would be good. I also think Noble Heritage would be fun to make voltron commander with an aggressive tempo & it would be interesting to boost opponent's creatures as well... even though you'd have to play the tempo wisely otherwise it might be difficult to catch up if you boosted opponent's creatures too early. It would certainly be a fun & aggressive take on Voltron though, & I'm not sure it would be all that hard to match up power if you are playing Voltron. I'm tempted myself due to all the aggressive engines you can have like: Sram, Senior Edificer, Wyleth, Soul of Steel, Akiri, Fearless Voyager & many others

I feel the "and" on the condition for Kosei's ability is too much, especially since he doesn't have evasion or any form of self-protection; assembling everything and then getting hit by random removal feels like a pretty common risk that's exasperated by the Aura problem (and to some extent counters not being "sticky"). Colors aside, I feel Wyleth, Soul of Steel is a much less awkward built-in-draw voltron option.
