Pedantic Learning

Enchantment

Whenever a land card is put into your graveyard from your library, you may pay (1). If you do, draw a card.

The Fleet Swallower effect must fully resolve before the triggers are put on the stack. So your first thought is correct; you mill half your library at once, then count the number of lands that were milled and get that many Pedantic Learning triggers.

Even if the cards were milled one at a time, the same rule applies. One effect must fully resolve before another can happen.

Idoneity on Muldrotha

Now, I don't particularly enjoy playing popular commanders, but I'm not here for that.

You see, "Muldrotha" is not a very good title, thereupon warding people from viewing the deck. If you so wish for others to gaze upon your splendor, try something less literal and blunt. They know the commander from the appellation, so why click on the deck? There are a million Muldrotha decks, and therefrom this one must not be just any other. These are merely from the top of my head, but may these serve as inspiration. Perhaps "Blooming Tumulus," "Awakening the Lurid," or something of that ilk. Have it be quippy, have it be fun, or have it be poetical, but "Muldrotha" shan't beckon anyone's attention.

For the sake of a suggestion, I enjoy Pedantic Learning, Grisly Salvage, and Satyr Wayfinder in my graveyard decks.

May fortune betide.

Honestly I think that Biomantic Mastery, Lashwrite, Perpetual Timepiece, and Sudden Reclamation shouldn't make the cut.

These are some cards that I didn't notice on the list that seem like they could be good for this list. I bolded cards that I think are particularly on point for a list like this.

Absolutely love this, man, self mill decks > other things. How well does Pedantic Learning play? I've really wanted to play that card but honestly just wasn't fond of the art X3

Now, why is Dreams of the Dead in here? Can't it only target white or black?

Looks nice, and I'm flattered that someone has noticed my budget deck! :)

Now, to do with the questions in your description...I don't think any other cards trigger that way, actually (other than Vigor/Dread/Guile, which are a bit different). Not anything I'm aware of, at least. Pedantic Learning is as close as I could find, and that's already in the deck. Undead Alchemist does the reversed effect (and has an entertaining combo with Altar of the Brood.

If you look at the non-budget version of the deck (I Call Her Vera: Sidisi EDH), it's more adjusted for multiplayer. It's also a good guide for if you have a little more money to pour into it (hint: Mesmeric Orb, Sol Ring, Living Death, Basalt Monolith if at all possible, haha). Mesmeric Orb + Basalt Monolith instantly mills yourself out, as well :)

Small thing: I noticed that you added Consuming Aberration. I'm curious about your reasoning. That was in one of my drafts, actually, until I realized that it only counted opponents' graveyards. It's still a big beater though, so if it works for you...

Do you have any questions for me about how the deck handles?
