Cyclone

Enchantment

At the beginning of your upkeep, put a wind counter on Cyclone, then sacrifice Cyclone unless you pay for each wind counter on it. If you pay, Cyclone deals damage equal to the number of wind counters on it to each creature and each player.

FormOverFunction on Fun Deck/Builds to try

The deck I play every week (and enjoy) is my Torture! deck. Theme is the restriction I use exclusively, which makes it a LOT more fun for me. The troubles I’ve been having is that the new cards have been more and more specific to the storylines, and therefore less general in nature. There hasn’t been much in the way of a plain Cyclone or Evil Presence in the new sets; they’ve been “Ajani’s Mighty Cyclone that he Saved Jace with that one time” or “Liliana’s Evil Presence in the Teacher’s Lounge at Strixhaven.” There’s a point where they’ll run out of things like Fumarole to copy and paste out of a geology text book, or a different (please not flying) jellyfish from a biology book... and maybe they’re there finally, I don’t know. All of the new cards seem very paint-by-numbers, a lot fewer plain red square Legos to build with.

Cryptolith Fragment  Flip might be worthwhile as well. I’m a fan of the natural disasters... and I’m not very good at Magic: the Gathering... so I would probably try to force something like Cyclone or Pestilence in there LOL. Probably end up wedging something crazy in there like Cosmic Horror too, just to make sure no one would confuse the deck with all those eldrazi-doldrum decks. Your deck sounds fun! Let us know how it goes!!

Your list is pretty amazing. I run Seton as a commander as well, and I’ve gone at it a bit differently. There are some cards you have that I definitely want to try out like Helix Pinnacle and Quest for Renewal . I am currently running some relatively janky stuff with some exceptions. You can check it out here.

I’ll take suggestion if you have any. The only thing I can respectively suggest to you (as I think your build is better than mine) is maybe run Nemesis Mask or Bloodscent to provide a way for your combat to work around opponent’s creatures.

I actually didn’t happen to notice any boardwipes. How do you work with that in mono-green? Im currently running All Is Dust and Cyclone Setessan Tactics as some janky-sort-of-wipe. Other than the obvious Bane of Progress and Back to Nature for artifacts and enchantments.

Hellooooooo! I play Seton as a commander too! I like your deck list.

I’ll see if I can help you out. Feel free to give me feedback on mine as well (I feel like it still needs to be refined a bit). My version.

As far as boardwipes go I’m running All Is Dust , Setessan Tactics by itself or with Natural Affinity to destroy some lands as you aspire to do. Green Kamahl or Jolrael, Empress of Beasts help in this regard as well—and I see you are already running Kamahl. There’s also Oblivion Stone or a really janky option with Boompile . I’m also running Cyclone since mana is usually not a problem and this deals damage to each player as well which I like. And then there’s Back to Nature , Bane of Progress , Seeds of Innocence and Rampage of the Clans for artifact and enchantment wipes.

I just put a Paradox Engine in and I cant wait to see how it works.

There’s also Nemesis Mask and Bloodscent which give a different kind of unblockable.

Like I said check mine out for a slightly different take than what you have. I am also running some real weird enchantments like Hall of Gemstone and Primal Order for other ways to control and win.

Obviously no need to accept all of my suggestions but definitely stuff for you to think about. I personally need a Gilt-Leaf Archdruid for my deck still.

killroy726, I had originally pulled Titania, Protector of Argoth to keep the overall mana curve down, but I agree, it should be in. I just made adjustments into a V2 of the deck and her back.

triproberts12, Cyclone is now back in. I am keeping Nevinyrral's Disk . I hadn't even thought about Powder Keg . Great suggestion. That is definitely going in.

Will be working on the overall update to the deck today.

Kamahl, Fist of Krosa + Masticore or Thornbite Staff = the repeatable ability 2G: destroy target land. You can even do a bunch of Kamahl activations during the opponent right before you's turn's end step, so the lands stay animated until the next end step. That way you can untap and use even more mana to kill lands, that way something like Contagion Engine or Cyclone can wipe all the lands you can pay G for.
