Changing some things around to better fit the meta at my local FNM
Agro has really dropped off so changing out a few things.
Moved Wild Slash to the sideboard and replaced it with Dispel.
took out a single land (Plains), 25 lands may have been 1 too many.
put another Dragonlord Ojutai, another Dig Through Time and another Ojutai's Command
Going to try this at my local FNM tonight.

End of Querys

Tezzeret the Seekers tutor and untap abilities make my matchups so much better. Also, Gideon Jura is replacing my last Day of Judgment being that an extra beat stick never hurts.
OGW Update
HunterEste, 9 years ago
With KTK and FRF cycling out, I dropped out harsh sustenance and utter end. I have swapped out Utter end for Ruinous Path. I also moved Bloodbond Vampire to the sideboard in favor of Cliffhaven Vampire. Still pouring over the new OGW cards to see what else would have decent synergy with the life gain triggers in this deck. Right now Cliffhaven Vampire is the only clear winner that lept out to me.
Problems fixed.

This is pretty much my final draft, but if you know of some cards that would be perfect for this deck suggestions are always welcome.
4-0 at SCG Night!
AngryChewie, 9 years ago
The deck won my lgs's SCG modern night! First round was against storm. Won the first game of first round a turn before storm could go off. Second game he went off turn 4 before I could get the last bit of damage in. Game three I mulligan'd to get a leyline and he forgot to sideboard against it so he just conceded. Second round was against grixis control which heavily favored me. My threats were just bigger and his spot removal did nothing. Third round was against hatebears. Game one was his after preventing me from cracking fetches and then ghost quartering my first two lands. Game two went to me because I had a great opening hand that he couldnt race. Game three was scary because he had a wide board and I was dead in a turn before I drew a daybreak to start lifegaining on a big boggle. Emptied my hand on the boggle, lifegained from 10 to 55 in a couple swings, and then he played a spellskite along with scavenging ooze. He had a liege and voice of resurgence on the field already so after a few turns of pumping the ooze he got it big enough so that he could take on my boggle if I swung again. Couldn't pump the boggle anymore because of the spellskite either unless it was a daybreak so the game became a stalemate for 4 turns until I drew a path for the spellskite and then pumped boggle with a few more spells including spirit mantle to swing for lethal past his blockers. Final round was against twin. Game 1 was his after comboing on turn 5. Game 2 went to me after he blood moon'd himself and I put a suppression field into play. Game 3 was scary close with him almost combo'ing, but me having a nature's claim in hand to stop it. Proceeded to get another suppression field into play on the draw next turn and from there I beat face. He had a cryptic command in his gy and was 1 mana short of snapping it back and bouncing suppression field. If he did that I would have been in serious trouble.

BFZ Updates

Updates with BFZ have now been added.
Not as budget as I'd like it to be
pryoplasm, 9 years ago
There has been some movement on the cards lately, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Eye of Ugin, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel have jumped in price a bit, making this less budget friendly than I like.
There aren't many good alternatives, but trying to keep up with prices can be a hassle, but can sometimes pay off if you find an undervalued gem.

More updates
ShermanTank87, 9 years ago
I have changed the deck around quite a bit. I dropped Sword of Fire and Ice and Remand adding an additional Island and Pendelhaven. I also dropped a Geth's Verdict and a Snapcaster Mage adding 2x Mana Leak. I also decided to add x2 Scion of Oona, which I've decided is quite effective against Abrupt Decay. Finally, I also dropped a Sunken Ruins for an Island. I will be playing this deck as it is at my LGS's next modern event an will post results.
Will take Suggestions
Yuhaku, 9 years ago
Hello! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Will take into consideration of what to add and what to remove to help better this deck.
Just a remainder for me
demonicpower, 9 years ago
Get Ayli and Call the Gatewatch and replace Crystal ball and Athreos. Also I am replacing Xathrid Slyblade with a Sin collector since my friends enjoy their tooth and nail combos and other things, but mostly tooth and nail

Several of the spoiled cards in the upcoming set look like auto includes in this deck, but I'll need to playtest everything a lot to see what meshes and what doesn't.

misc thoughts
mookie990, 9 years ago
Played the deck for the first time in a while, and made a few observations about where I want to take it. Not making any changes right at this moment, but I intend to pick up Seize Control (the UR precon) and use it to fill in some gaps. Deck functioned fine overall - game ended in a draw after ~2 hours with minimal progress being made by anyone.
Thoughts:
-I should run more instant-speed stuff. This deck really wants to be able to hold mana open - either for removal, or counterspells, or Zedruu activations. Would also like some more counterspells (Forbid!)
-On a related note, I should develop some better threat assessment when it comes to what things are worth countering. Most creatures aren't due to the number of wraths I run and the fact that I don't get attacked that often.
-Reliquary Tower is very, very important. Should hunt down a Thought Vessel and Venser's Journal to complement it.
-Cut Spellweaver Volute. The card is awesome, but this deck doesn't run enough sorceries, and many of the ones that are being run are wraths, which you don't necessarily want to use.
-Donated enchantments stick around fairly reliably... until someone uses mass enchantment removal, which is a bit more common than I realized. Still not common, but there are a decent number of flexible wraths than can hit them.
-Deck still desperately wants Goblin Charbelcher. I should also see if there are some other easy wincons that could be added.
-I should try using a counter to track how many things have been donated.
