This deck can win on turn 1, and thanks to Zendikar Rising, it can also win on turns 2 through 4 fairly consistently barring interaction from the opponent. The Charbelcher Combo(or as I like to call it, Chombo) is finally somewhat viable in modern with the addition of modal cards. But how does the Chombo work you ask? It uses Goblin Charbelcher and Irencrag Feat to delete your opponent from the game. In order to have this happen as early as possible, we use ramp cards like Simian Spirit Guide, Pyretic Ritual, and Desperate Ritual, as well as our modal lands, some of which can enter untapped. The perfect scenario goes something like this:

Turn 1: Play Shatterskull, the Hammer Pass or another modal land. Exile 1 Simian Spirit Guide from your hand to add a red mana. Next, play 2 more cards from the list of ramp cards that I mentioned earlier. Then, play Irencrag Feat into Goblin Charbelcher, and finally tap Goblin Charbelcher to deal 53 damage to your opponent. There is no turn 2.

It's not even that farfetched to get that sort of hand. With the help of cards like Street Wraith and Serum Powder, winning turn 1 has never been easier! Plus, even if you don't get the nut draw, you can now run lands in order to slowly build up to the Chombo. Or, you can just play a Goblin Charbelcher turn 1 or 2 and make your opponent want to quit magic while they start wishing that they had artifact removal. Try the Chombo today!

Amazing deck! BTW you have 19 sb cards

My biggest gripe with your build is that it doesn't play 4 Recross the Paths. With Recross, you get to play the sideboard Coco combo (Collected Company + Undercity Informer + Thassa's Oracle) to get around Leyline of Sanctity, which is a meta sideboard card right now. This is the biggest reason to play Recross; as your deck is now you have literally no way to get around Leyline besides casting Street Wraiths and Spirit Guides. Recross also lets you play one or two Reforge the Soul, which just becomes "2 mana: I win the game" since you can stack a combo hand with Pact of Negation/Veil of Summer for protection underneath it.

That said, I think the blue splash for Force of Negation is unique, and Serum Powder helps with the loss of Recross. However I think you need 3-4 enchantment hate spells in your sideboard at the very least, because Leyline is really crippling.

This is the build of Charbelcher I'm playing right now: Flip Land Charbelcher! [ZNR]. It's great that there are a bunch of ways to build the deck.

That is a great point, hungry000. My version of the deck is all about speed right now, and recross the paths seemed a little too slow for me. For some reason, though, I didn't realize that leyline would be an issue. I will have to put in lots of enchantment removal for that.

You've got 8 green spells already to support Force of Vigor

Wow jld592. That's a great idea. I will add 4 of those to the sideboard.
