Ideas for Intet EDH

Trying to get a general idea of what sort of deck to build using Intet, the Dreamer as the commander.

I chose her, because there are a number of pathways to take when she's your general, but I'm not really sure where to start. Some ideas would be appreciated :3

Intet can basically do anything. The whole point is that if he is swinging freely and staying alive, your running through your deck for 3 mana a turn. So focus on keeping him alive and possibly attacking multiple times a turn using Scourge of the Throne, Savage Beating, Aggravated Assault, and Seize the Day. Then you can just drop 3 more mana and get another free card on the same turn. So give him hexproof/shroud/ indestructible any way you can and swing away. Thats what I would do at least.

Giving Intet double strike helps too. Fireshrieker and Atarka, World Render are worth looking at.

You also want ways of manipulating the top of your library. Sensei's Divining Top, Mystical Tutor, Worldly Tutor, Momir Vig, Simic Visionary and Soothsaying are all cards that I would consider. Brainstorm is also useful for putting an expensive card in your hand back on top of your library in response to Intet's trigger.

If you are manipulating your library, you may as well add in Lurking Predators as an extra avenue to cheat cards into play.

Vedalken Orrery or Leyline of Anticipation would let you cast the spells you exile with Intet whenever you want.

Ultimately though, you need to connect with Intet to get the trigger so commander damage is always a factor. If you aren't going combo heavy, I would make commander damage your main win-con since it would work with the all the cards that give protection/double strike/trample/unblockable/extra turns that you would want to have anyway. The free spells are just icing on the cake that accelerate your game plan and help give you the edge in card advantage.

Oh, I've always wanted to build an Intet deck.

First, you have to think about what kind of board-chemistry you want her to have, because as-is other players will get annoyed and smack her off the field regularly. Personally, I would form a parasitic or symbiotic relationship with another player who won't bother to block you. Probably someone playing lifegain.

You don't have to do that...but WOW would that be a fascinating way of building a deck.

I would build the deck around a scry-engine so you can control what's on the top of your deck when you swing with Intet. Stuff like Ugin's Insight, Crystal Ball, Sigiled Starfish, Darksteel Pendant, and probably a few others. I would also use artifacts which give unblockable or skirt it, with Whispersilk Cloak, Prowler's Helm, and Skyblinder Staff.

Then, of course, the bombs. Emrakul, Blightsteel Colossus, Worldspire Wurm, the sky is really the limit. You may want to throw a Mercurial Chemister in so if you draw a bomb you can't possibly cast you can productively waste it, and while we're at it, Riddle of Lightning and Interpret the Signs, because with giant beatsticks, why not?

As I said, I would round out the rest of the deck with cards that you can use to play the table and cool off the "Intet is terrible" hate. With creatures like Vodalian Illusionist, Enclave Cryptologist, and Kiora's Follower, I would totally go Merfolk Tribal for the rest of the deck.
