Sideboard

Super basic, the Plains level of basic.

How to play this deck?

Well, you turn one Windswept Heath, Wooded Foothills, Temple Garden, Forest, or Horizon Canopy, to play a Birds of Paradise or Noble Hierarch

Turn two, you want to tap for 3 mana after play a land, and try to land a Wayfaring Temple or a Knight of the Reliquary

Turn three you want to empty your hand, of all of your lingering Path to Exiles, Call of the Conclaves, Selesnya Charms, Intangible Virtues, or Voice of Resurgences.

Occasionally, you get a slower hand, and have to turn one play a Dryad Militant, turn two Voice of Resurgence, etc. and just play for value and roll with it.

The deck works. It is the most competitive populate deck I have seen so far, but I am sure it has been done before. Personally, a normal Collected Company deck would be generally better, with Azusa, Lost but Seekings, Ramunap Excavators, and Tireless Trackers.

If you want this deck, but think $320 for a playset of Noble Hierarch is $20 more than you'd like to spend on an overpriced Llanowar Elves, then check out Budget Very Basic Populate, the current list is less than $30, which is less than $10 less than half of one of the four Noble Hierarchs in this list. It perforsm similarly as well, and has a full sideboard, removal, and the whole deck.
