The Legion’s Destiny

WB Brew with tribal vampires in RIX Standard. The cards that inspired this brew were Legion Lieutenant and Call to the Feast which combined made for some memorable plays at my Prerelease!

4-ofs:

Skymarcher Aspirant is an aggressive one-drop that gains flying after ascending making it a good fit for the deck.

Adanto Vanguard is another aggressive creature (getting pumped whenever it swings) that is hard to deal with.

Dusk Legion Zealot is a great two-drop that replaces itself while also granting a vampire body.

Legion Lieutenant is a lord which is crazy good with Go Wide strategies like this deck. The fact that it is a two-drop is even better allowing for great mana usage.

Radiant Destiny acts like another lord that is also enhanced by going wide! The vigilance that this grants in the late game can be important in certain matchups.

3-ofs:

Fatal Push is the only hard removal in the main deck (mostly because I wanted to maximize synergy)

Martyr of Dusk was my third two-drop of choice mainly because it leaves a creature when it dies making it resilient to removal.

Forerunner of the Legion is a vampire body that tutors (really great when this curves right into the next card) also acting like a small repeatable pump spell.

Sanctum Seeker can help push through damage in board stalls or close out a game quickly while providing incidental life gain.

Shefet Dunes acts as a third lord effect, though its only temporary so should be reserved for late game alpha strikes.

2-ofs:

Legion's Landing   provides a vampire while also helping to hit ascend earlier. After flipping it provides a stream of vampires which, with a lord or two, can become bigger.

Champion of Dusk is a great top-end to the deck. At worst it is a bigger Dusk Legion Zealot but with even one vampire it nets cards and helps refill in the late game.

Ifnir Deadlands acts as removal for small creatures while providing more deserts.

Scavenger Grounds are more deserts while also being graveyard hate.
