Heya guys this is my first attempt at a Modern deck! :) I'm really enjoying making it having been a long term EDH and kind of a standard onagainoffagain player.My card choices are centered around Haste,Discard,3+ Damage as much as possible. The sideboard is mainly control for when it is needed as I am told this format is riddles with bogus combos :). This isn't your standad Goyf Concordant Jund combo deck. Leave a Comment and a +1 Criticism welcomed hopefully its constructive.
1 Drops :
Lighting Bolt -> 3 Damage which can double as a discard if Pain Magnification is on the board
Reckless Wiaf -> 1/1 that will usually transform into a 3/2 for one cmc. <3
2 Drops :
Spike Jester -> 3/1 Haste
Terminate -> Kill spell( SB ) Cruel Edict -> Hand control
Mayor Abs. -> Holding hands to victory.
Dreadbore -> Pesky Pesky Walkers
3 Drops :
Aethermancer -> Nonbasic bolt on a 2/2 body? Please.
Dredge Mangler -> 3/3 Haste with graveyard bonus?
Blightning -> Just greatness.
Pain magnification -> If 3+ from a source they discard, AMAZING.
(SB ) Firespout -> In case of another aggro matchup
Putrefy -> Control
K. Grip -> Savior against artifact based wincons.
4 Drops :
Slaughter Games -> Need I say more?
Huntmaster of the Fells -> +2 Health In case of emergencies helps a lot And it can transform :) Free token
Gaint Solifuge -> 4/1 Trample Haste Shourd?!
Falkenrath Aristocrat -> 4/1 Flying Haste dodge a boardwipe.
