Just a test of a RUG Delver deck.
Early game involves using Delvers to kill them fast, if not we out tempo them with burns and Quirion Dryad .
I was just thinking of using the Fling in the mirror, where they target my creatures with say a vapor snag, and just get it thrown back at them for more damage. In addition, Mental Misstep is also used to delay the Quirion Dryad getting Vapor Snag ed back to my hand.
Hey, check out my Delver of Tempo build that I put together, I think it's pretty good, and I'm trying to make it post-rotation, so I need some advice on it.
@kingboo3000 I took a look at it, it looks pretty good overall.
I think RUG Tempo has some sort of chance after rotation. Izzet is giving it a bit of support. Once Gatecrash comes along, the charms at least promise to be good.
This deck is solid. Right now, my main suggestion would be to cut an Arc Trail and add another Gut Shot . It's just a play to the meta. Too many Delvers and Dorks running around not to try to Prey Upon the opportunity.
The main draw to running RUG instead of UR, especially after rotation, is Huntmaster of the Fells Flip . Even in your deck, I think Huntmaster is better than Talrand, Sky Summoner . You run Snapcaster Mage s and a variety of instants, so you have enough control over him to use him as a removal/token engine, which is just better than the 'folk. If you're running RG, you should probably be running him.
I recently joined this website, and posted the ongoing project I've been running in Standard. It's also a RUG Tempo list. Please check it out if you get some time; it's called Flashwoof. Thanks.
Sounds like a plan to me, thanks for the suggestions. Just wish I had more money and could afford to buy some Huntmaster of the Fells Flip .

Errm, not to kill your thunder, but Fling says "sacrifice" which does not, in fact, involve targeting, which means your Wild Defiance will not pump your poor creature.
Also, I think your should probably take out your Spikeshot Elder s for more Instant/Sorceries. Otherwise, a pretty nice build, I like the idea of Quirion Dryad .
