Hello everybody and this is my UW taxes deck. Huge credit to Sylvarrenx or Kyle who helped me with this deck and really pulled it all together based on what I had. You're awesome man and I am very excited to use this brew.

How does this work - So how does this all work? Well we are looking to slow down the opponent with our taxing effects as well as remove their permanents from the game.

• Lavinia, Azorius Renegade is a newly printed card from Ravnica Allegiance that does a lot of sweet things. First she taxes decks heavily like Tron who look to cheat out Karn Liberated on turn 3. She also stops people from casting their cards out from under our Spell Queller if they kill our Queller. It also should be noted that if control has less than 6 lands she stops Terminus as well.

• Our next important card that was already mentioned is current modern staple Spell Queller. This cards honestly busted because it's an efficient flyer that can counter most relevant threats. As previously stated she works amazing with Lavinia.

• Meddling Mage looks to stop those pesky Grapeshot's or name Anger of the Gods or whatever is our opponents most efficient threat to our deck in that game. This takes a lot of meta and deck knowledge to know what card really beats you in a specific scenario.

• Mistcaller is our efficient 1 drop who isn't just a useless 1/1. This merfolk printed in M19 has a lot of cool interactions with our deck while taxing some strategies. This card can force our opponent to not cast cards off Collected Company effectively countering it. We can also Flickerwisp or activate Eldrazi Displacer on our opponents creatures and poof they gone. This also hates on dredge and goryo's vengeance which is sweet.

• Thalia, Guardian of Thraben taxes a lot of modern currently such as Arclight Phoenix decks, demanding removal. Along with slowling down combo and control. She's a great card to have.

• Thought-Knot Seer rounds out our curve at 4 and can be powered out on turn 2 with Eldrazi Temple. This card is a great beater that gives us information and takes scary cards from our opponents.

• Path to Exile is our other 1 drop that removes creatures.

• Aether Vial makes our deck efficient and makes it so we can act on instant speed with creatures.

• Deputy of Detention is an amazing card that also works with Mistcaller and really overperforms in my testing.

• Flickerwisp can save our creatures, blink for choosing new targets, or create mistcaller shenanigans.

• Eldrazi Displacer can do the same thing along with tapping opponents creatures every turn in combat, or removing them from the game with Mistcaller.
