When I was first learning how to play MTG I was destroyed by a friend teaching me to play who was using Deus of Calamity. This inspired me to build a deck around destroying mana on a greater scale. This deck is the ongoing brainchild of that inspiration. It is based around destroying my opponents mana while ramping up my own, using Ajani Vengeant as a support/win-con and swinging in with Deus of Calamity and other big boys to win. I am also experimenting with using Ramunap Excavator + Embodiment of Fury + Ghost Quarter as a secondary win condition. I intend to improve my mana base a bit by getting another Stomping Ground and maybe some pain lands. Any suggestions are welcome!
