A mix of planeswalkers and creatures aimed at destroying enemy threats while progressing the board all the while generating tons of card advantage. The planeswalkers give good protection against sweepers and the deck is very favored against other midrange and somewhat favored vs control. This deck flourishes in unestablished metas.

The greedy mana base and high curve are satiated by 4 Servant of the Conduits and 4 Attune with Aethers, as well as the AWESOME mana base provided by the check lands of Ixalan.

At the core of the deck is the quintessential green/red energy package, which allows Aether Hub to be an effective fixer/deck thinner, Bristling Hydra a resilient beater, and Harnessed Lightning one of the best instant speed removal spells in the format.

Sideboard--Abrade for early interaction against Ramunap Red and other aggro decks, and is also the best removal vs Mardu Vehicles, and comes in vs random artifact synergy decks from Kaladesh. Appetite for the Unnatural is best against the new Sultai/Abzan token decks, but comes in vs the aforementioned Kaladesh artifact fringe decks as well. Sweltering Suns is good vs all the thopters Temur Energy/Grixis Tezzerator can make, as well as the early go-wide of Ramunap Red and Vampire/pirate/early aggro decks: also is a clean solution to the crazy token production the new token decks are capable of. Hour of Glory is brought in vs any deck with gods, Lost Legacy vs UW Approach of the Second Sun as well as token decks, and Duress vs UB control and token decks.
