Basically what I'm trying to do is use Cloudshift to repeatedly use detain when creatures like Lavinia enter the battlefield, as well as use counter spells and enchantments to limit the opponent's options as much as possible, so that creatures like Invisible Stalker and Lyev Skyknight can deal damage with little resistance. Venser will also be used for blink and making creatures unblockable.

Any constructive feedback is welcome, as this is just a prototype. The sideboard definitely needs some help. I haven't been building decks for very long, but control decks have always been my favorite. I mostly play casual, but I'm looking to get into modern and EDH.
