Hello everyone

I had been doing a lot of researching on what my other competitive modern deck would be and I finally found Ad Nauseum. I usually love to just beat face IE Affinity or Goblins, and combo decks seemed like an awesome archetype to pilot. This deck itself has been around for a while and looks like a blast to play.

The deck can be broken down into a few categories:

Combo Enablers Show

Outside of the lands, these are the main ways to find our combo.

Sleight of Hand - Dig down into our deck to find our pieces

Serum Visions - ""

Spoils of the Vault - Risky, but can be effective. The downside is that sometimes we exile our wincons

Lotus Bloom - Our combo takes a good amount of mana so having this is extremely needed

Pentad Prism - More ways of making mana, want to always cast for 2 unless desperate

Simian Spirit Guide - One of the only creatures in our deck - we look to use him to cast our combo piece below. If you have to use 1 before casting the combo piece, make sure you have 3 left when you draw your hand.

So what makes us go off?

Ad Nauseam - The name sake of the deck, the purpose is to draw our entire deck and then use some other helpful cards to kill our opponent

Angel's Grace - So this is one of the ways how we live through the Ad Nauseam damage and has other ways of being useful

Phyrexian Unlife - Also how we live through Ad Nauseam and buys us a turn most times

Wincons Show

So how do we win once we have played Phyrexian Unlife or Angel's Grace into Ad Nauseam?

Lightning Storm - Pretty simple - hold priority and start discarding, holding priority in between each. Need to watch out because your opponent can also discard land cards to redirect, so make sure to discard enough and not exile too many with Spoils of the Vault Our main wincon

Laboratory Maniac - This is our backup wincon when they have Leyline of Sanctity or another way of stopping you. After drawing your deck you play him and then use your cantrips to win.

Everything Else Show

So that's not all. You may ask, "Can't they just counter?" The answer is yes, of course. However, we have a way to stop that.

Pact of Negation - Our response to counter spells, we would hopefully like to draw one so we can get off our combo, as well as respond to any counters to our wincons. A useful tip with Pact is that you can use Angel's Grace to live through the Pact cost on your upkeep and then you can combo off on that turn.

Temple of Deceit and Temple of Enlightenment are also interesting as lands, however we don't mind them coming in tapped because we want to scry to find our pieces.

This deck is so powerful because you can combo off at instant speed with all of your cards. This can mean on your opponent's upkeep, yours, etc.
