Budget dredge/reanimate concept

Deathrite Shaman can provide mana early game, and an outlet for any leftover mana mid-late game, slowly draining opponents of life, or gaining it for ourselves, a versatile card that found a home here as a result of an impulse buy at my local card shop.

Archfiend of Depravity + Sepulchral Primordial One fills their graves, the other robs them. Doesn't get much prettier than that

Doomgape a 10/10 trampler, that can extend our chances of winning by feeding us life, cycle a Rot Farm Skeleton each turn to keep him from eating himself, or feed him tokens from Avenger of Zendikar or Hornet Queen. If we're actually beginning to run out of life he can eat himself for a quick 10 or consume a Golgari Grave-Troll for however huge the troll was, just to dredge again next turn.

Avenger of Zendikar + Dread Return + Hornet Queen We can hard-cast Dread Return targeting either creature, which will poop enough tokens on the the field to immediately flashback the Dread Return producing a total of 3+ creatures all for 4 mana.

Taunting Elf is either a cheap blocker, Sacrficial lamb for Dread Return or the reason your Fatties will get through unhindered, nearly guaranteeing a quick victory.

Deathrite Shaman + Elves of Deep Shadow prevent mana screw, making sure you can always Unearth an Eternal Witness to pull a card out of the Yard, or cast Victimize,Grisly Salvage, or Treasured Find, even letting us cycle a Rot Farm Skeleton with as little as two lands in our opening hand. As always, though, once they've surved their purpose, they're just one more creature in the yard to feed your Golgari Grave-Troll.
