My current list of Modern GB Elves!
A very budget version of it, adequate to a broken uni student income. Though fetcheless, it's a powerhouse that can win you games turn 4 thanks to Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Elvish Archdruid. the overall plan is the classical elves combo-aggro strategy: play dorks - we have 12 of them - in the first turn, an Elvish Archdruid in the subsequent turns - keeping an eye to removals - and then go all out for the win via Ezuri, Renegade Leader or our other win condition Shaman of the Pack.
In this build, for budget restrictions I'm not running Collected Company, but it is an obvious improvement; as well as Heritage Druid, our Modern and Legacy staple.
I intend to replace the Viridian Acolytes with Elves of Deep Shadow ASAP, and that's why Essence Warden is already with the team (also for covering us up for the future additions of Llanowar Wastes).
I used to run a beatdown version of it with Steel Leaf Champion instead of Shaman of the Pack, but the reach she gives us is a blessing in grinding matchups and a couple of them can outright close games.
Ormendahl, Profane Prince is one of the most powerful elves we have access to, and its cost isn't a heavy-burden to pay as we can easily produce the mana and the requested bodies. But I always think of using him as pulling the emergency brake of the deck even if he can win us games.
At last, I use an combination of Winding Ways and Lead the Stampedes with a light favouring of Ways as it can be played sooner and has the upside - even if used in really rare cases - of searching us lands as well.
