Well, now that M14 is released and most of the cards from my current decks are going out of standard, I feel the need to make a new deck. INTRODUCING, Slivers...

Summary

Its all slivers. If you want to get techy then keeps reading. I have chosen not to use either black or blue due to my inherent "bad luck" with multiple colours, and the lack of dual lands in the standard rotation. The aim of this deck is to pursue an army of slivers with the focus of stacking up counters on Door of Destinies . To maintain the general high-costing nature of my creatures and other spells, I will also be running 4x Manaweft Sliver as a result. Barrage of Expendables and Savage Summoning will be added to help improve the flexibility of the deck and to counterract typical control strategies.

The main slivers I will be focusing on will be Manaweft Sliver and Predatory Sliver, solely for the fact that they are so low-costing and provide great benefits to the other slivers. The only two slivers I have neglected (purposefully) are Steelform Sliver and Battle Sliver , this is because I believe their benefits do not stack well against their mana costs, as opposed to the quintessential Predatory Sliver. On this note, I may mainboard Thorncaster Sliver on a later date in case I believe mana won't become an issue...

Theros! — Sept. 22, 2013

I have added some minor updates to the Sideboard in favour of adding some new Theros cards. I have chosen to replace Barrage of Expendables with Chained to the Rocks, Boros Charm with Bow of Nylea and lastly Wear / Tear with Destructive Revelry. These new cards will Hopefully add a new strategy to the deck and improve upon areas where the deck is lacking...
