Gilder Bairn's Workshop

Wanna build a factory from the ground up? Wanna Ugin -10 the turn he's dropped and have him live to tell the tale. Wanna put a f*** ton of charge counters on things. Excellent. So do I.

How this deck works:

Early Game: Early game is a survival game, like all good companies- the starting out in business is the hardest part. You don't make a multimillionaire company in a few days, and likewise with this deck you don't win turn two. Unless the person your playing against practically kills themselves. Which rarely happens. Fog Bank soaks up a lot of damage from aggro decks and cocky decks. Slowly start building your forces by dropping Coretapper to put counters on Astral Cornucopia (which can lead to turn four ugin which can be very nice to clear the board of those pesky aggro decks) Tumble Magnet is there to tap down the man himself Gilder Bairn but also to provide a bit more board control and save yourself some damage.Serum Visions allows for card draw and better hands.

Mid game/Late game. Depending on how well your early game went your factory of a field should slowly be growing. Mana Leak provides the control you'll need to save the factory from removal and big board threats. Gilder Bairn is super fun. Tap him down either by attacking or using Tumble Magnet or Tamiyo (Who also provides some control to your opponents field.) The Bairn can grow your planeswalkers into never dying monsters, grow your Cornucopia into the biggest mana bank or can grow a wincon of your choice. I originally grew grindclock for the win, giving it (with a full field) about 20 counters a turn or so. Which obviously lead to victory. But I feel Chimeric Mass or even Darksteel reactor are going to be more effective.

Other weird things you can do with the deck: Tamiyo, the Moon Sage has a very nice -8. That can be used the turn she's dropped if you have a decent field. This has nice synergy with Coretapper . Sacrificing the coretapper for two counters and then having him in your hand and dropping him will help you grow quickly and dominate the late game. Furthermore it helps you cope better with a board wipe from your opponent. And normally lets you win.

Ugin's boardwipe normally allows you to have the edge over your opponent. His -10 can be done the turn he's dropped if you Bairn him. This results in a cray cray field which is fun

Unwinding Clock can be used to help everything you got grow fast. Can be fetched for with Tezzeret which is very handy.

Tezzeret obviously has a home here. His -5 can cause you to win if played well.

Inkmoth nexus is an alternate win con which can be funny when pulled off. You can speed up this rather slow win-con by using Ensoul artifact (Although that's not always recommended). It's not a vital part of the deck. But it's nice.

Academy ruins will save your arse.
