At the moment I'm trying out the Funeral Charms as well as Nezumi Shortfang.

Since this build has an higher damage output (bolts and command) than a regular mono-black 8-rack the decision to just use 7 of the "racks" was fairly easy.

I play with a maximum of three lands that can't produce coloured mana. Rix Madii, Dungeon Palace is a given. The rest is more undecided. I'm leaning towards Ghost Quarter because it has a wider range of use than most other lands.

The mana base is "relatively" painless. Sure, "fetch/shock/thoughtseize/I take that card, 15 life, go" hurts bad, but not that common sight. Usually I can fetch a basic or play my fetch second turn.
