Going back to the old plan of Collected companying out 5/5s or bigger. Collected company is still in my opinion, one of the best cards poised in the standard environment, with creatures getting cheaper and stronger, there's not been a better time to take advantage of this great card (actually there was but that's another story)(actually there will be when Oath of Gatewatch comes out but don't worry about the details).
The best thing about this deck though is there are so many routes to victory, so much value and such cheap threats making is go under a lot of mid ranged decks, the problem with this deck is, it's not so good against other aggro styled decks.
Some amazing things i love about this deck is Hero's Blade, there are so many legendary creatures in this deck that getting this free equip has never been easier. Infact, it will constantly make your 3 drops power 5 or greater. (One of the best interactions with this card is having Alesha, Who Smiles at Death+Lilianna heretical healer, bringing this necromancer back to the field, tapped and attacking, with a free equip from hero's blade is a 5/5 with life link for 2 mana).
There's a lot of value from re-animation in this deck, Lilianna heretical healer and
Sidisi's Faithful
is an obvious one, increasing the numbers on this combo is the Alesha, Who Smiles at Death doing exactly the same thing, attacking, bringing sidisi's faithful back and bouncing for huge tempo shifts.
Hero's Blade works incredibly well with
Yasova Dragonclaw
, powering her up to a 7/4 with trample with upside, and the upside is really high, being able to steal their best creature and if you have a sidisi's faithful, you can sacrifice it and bounce their second best creature, sounds too good to be true.
What brings the entire deck together is Collected Company and Hero's Blade, one sifts through the deck at amazing pace for the strongest 3 drops or less, and the other means my 3 drops will match or exceed other people's higher cmc creatures.
