Introduction

Welcome to my Human tribal White Weenie deck. I am just getting into modern and loved playing in standard with Thalia's Lieutenant so I figured I'd make a modern deck to play with. I will be ever working on this deck so feel free to leave suggestions or questions!

Card Choices

Thalia's Lieutenant as mentioned is one of the best cards in the deck. Pumping all the other humans and then getting stronger with every human after that makes her a big threatChampion of the Parish is very similar to the lieutenant but does not pump everybody else. It is the best option to play on turn one. If you can play two humans on turn two, or if you can play a lieutenant on turn two, as it will hit for 3. Kytheon, Hero of Akros   is our second best one drop. In such a creatures heavy deck it is hard to not flip him. Having access to a planeswalker in a WW deck is huge, he dodges sweepers, and can protect himself in both forms. soldier of pantheon another one drop that can gain us some life and has protection from multicolour that sometimes can be important. Protection from Terminate and Abrupt Decay and some creature that may otherwise block us out.Student of Warfare is a weaker one drop but makes the deck due to the fact that it lets us use all our mana efficiently. Any extra white mana can just be dumped into the student. Also as a top deck from an empty hand it is better than most other creatures we will draw as you can pump it as many times as you can when first played. 3/3 first strike is bigger and badder than most all our creatures.Thraben Inspector. A 1/2 is not the most ideal body, but it supplies a clue that also helps us our mana and givea us more gas later in the game. Boros Elite another one drop that doesn't do much more than drop the beat. We quickly get up to battalion triggers so she can essentially be a 3/3 for one mana.Imposing Sovereign and Thalia, gaurdian of thraben are two drops that attempt to slow down our enemies. They are both powerful effects and gives us more time to accomplish our mission.Mutavault get the include as it should in most tribal decks. As a man land it avoids sweepers and allows you to get extra bodis on the field and attacking. If you have the mana activating it before playing a lieutenant will allow you to permanently buff it.

Sideboard

Auriok Champion is an expensive but great card for many matchups. Gain life helps us race other fast decks and its protection from most of the spot removal keeps her on the board and swingingAegis of the Gods Giving yourself hexproof is helpful in a few matchups. Your opponent will have to move this little guy if they want to combo off or burn you down, which will buy you more time.Mana Tithe Is in the board to help slow down enemies that have sweeper effects, countering their sweeper or threatening to counter will buy you more time to get the beats down.Return to the Ranks is a card that I have not had time to playtest with though I want to board it in vs any deck with a lot of spot removal. Bringing back the army they already killed off I hope will turn the tides in our favour.Revoke Existence just a sorcery speed artifact/enchantment hate card that exiles. Disenchant was initially in this spot. I never held mana open for it, so I figured why not replace it with a spell that exiles instead.
