This is a mono red goblins deck that has been winning me games all day. I made this version of goblins after seeing others trying to play a burn version of the deck with Guttersnipe. While I think that is fine, I wanted a more competitively viable goblin deck that is fast and hits hard.

Let's start at the bottom of the curve -

Skirk Prospector: This guy is very useful on turn 1 to allow the casting of any of your turn 3 goblins, most notably Legion Warboss & Goblin Chainwhirler.

Shock: We have access to shock so we play a couple copies to deal with Llanowar Elves or to help finish off larger creatures in combination with Goblin Chainwhirler & Volley Veteran.

Goblin Instigator: We have a playset of goblin instigator because it does everything we want, puts more goblin type bodies on the board, gives us sac targets and are the main targets of mentor and Goblin Trashmaster buffs.

Lightning Strike: Basically this ends games that are close and helps remove annoying creatures and planeswalkers.

Dark-Dweller Oracle: Helps get value out of tokens or goblins that would be otherwise hit with removal.

Lava Coil: Kills things with 4 toughness and exiles things you don't want coming back like Ravenous Chupacabra, Rekindling Phoenix, etc. Can do tricky plays with your creatures that have high power or a Goblin Chainwhirler ETB trigger.

Goblin Chainwhirler: The best goblin we have in this deck. Big stats, great ETB trigger.

Legion Warboss: Arguably the 2nd best card. When cheesed out on turn 2 or played after a Goblin Warchief it's a great tempo play.

Goblin Warchief: It gives all our goblins haste and makes most of them cost 1 less. You can utilize that extra in so many ways I don't want to list them all.

Goblin Trashmaster: This card gives all our goblins +1/+1. It's 2nd ability hasn't been super useful for me but it's there.

Volley Veteran: Arguably the worst card in the deck, however it does have the ability to bust open games when you are facing creatures with high toughness. Play after a Goblin Warchief for huge tempo plays.

Siege-Gang Commander: Our late game bomb that ends game. This card can bust open grindy games by activating its ability several times and hitting face.

Sideboard -

Goblin Cratermaker: Side this in against decks with artifacts, low toughness creatures and Karn, Scion of Urza.

Squee, the Immortal: For the control matchup, can't even be stopped with Ixalan's Binding.

The Flame of Keld: I'm not too sold on this card in the sideboard slot but it can help you out if you are against control. Might be better to just have Karn, Scion of Urza.

Banefire: For control since it can't be countered and helpful for creatures that have high toughness for those grindyer games.

Hijack: This card will tilt your midrange opponents by you stealing their best creature and not only can they not block you with it but you get to swing with that creature. Can help you bust open grindy games against midrange.

Lava Coil: We got extra coil's for those games with a 4 & 5 toughness creatures and those guys we NEED to exile.

Demystify: Had to splash white just to gain this effect since red is completely unable to deal with enchantments like History of Benalia, Song of Freyalise, Shaper's Sanctuary, Search for azcanta , & Growing Rites of Itlimoc .
