To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Jund. The shard is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of value most of the cards will go over a typical playerss head. Theres also Junds tempo, which is deftly woven into the decklist- the deck draws heavily from MTG blog and netdeck literature, for instance. The Jund players understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these excellent decklists, to realise that theyre not just cards- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Jund truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldnt appreciate, for instance, the complexity in Junds existential catchphrase Jund em' out, which itself is a cryptic reference to LoadingReadyRuns epic Friday Nights - Grand Prix Calgary. Im smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Junds genius wit unfolds itself on their playmats. What fools.. how I pity them. And yes, by the way, i DO have a Jund tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. Its for the ladies eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that theyre within 25 planeswalker points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid
