Sideboard

Maybeboard

This is a bit of a midrange/control deck with a theme of SWAMP LOVE:

Lashwrithe
Tendrils of Corruption
Mutilate
Korlash, Heir to Blackblade

I'm using Snow-Covered Swamps solely because they look much more oppressively bleak than normal swamps :).

It's a pretty fair deck. The idea is to use removal to keep your opponent's board under control, and use hand disruption to break up any combo pieces and other problems. Pretty standard mono-black stuff.
You do this with the goal of putting, and keeping your creatures on the field so that they can carry Lashwrithe into battle.
Some key points on the creatures:

Pilgrim's Eye is a superb equip target as it is evasive, and it's ETB effect helps you to hit land drops. The more Swamps you control, the better
Shriekmaw is another classy fellow. Upon entering the battlefield, it is a sorcery-speed Terror (kind-of) leaving you with a relatively evasive body if it was not Evoked.
Reassembling Skeleton is a good, early body used to chump-block and carry Lashwrithe. Plus it reassembles.

Using Mutilate can clear the board almost every time, with the possible happy ending wherein whatever non-germ creature you have equipped with Lashwrithe survives.

The sideboard is still being worked on (ad infinitum).
