Whenever an artifact enters the battlefield under your control, you may draw a card. If you do, discard a card.

Compare Thieving Boatman to Library Larcenist and Skyswimmer Koi. I think it's acceptable where it is, or maybe even a touch underpowered.

I just had a thought. If vigilance is making its way into , that could be an option to manipulate Duelist at higher rarities.

Lakeside Extortionist can be a little risky, with a required negative effect. If you have artifacts and your opponent doesn't, you might have just lost a turn with it. Hope you didn't need that Treasure mana next turn...

Valiant Roadtreader's wording is awkward. "It can't (insert phrase here) if possible" isn't especially intuitive. I get the intent, and I'm trying to come up with an alternative wording, but as is, it's funky.

Sleazy Tolltaker has draw five cards, at minimum. At common. Even the "draw equal to power" is at higher rarities in green. I don't think the discard five + defender is enough to offset this. Maybe loot 2?

Illusory Growth is a little smaller than Serpentine Ambush. Is this where you want it to be?

Fade from the Blow is probably overpowered. Slip Out the Back is a good uncommon, and Fade is a little more restrictive. might be an okay cost, but I might be overestimating it's utility. Why not "Put a +1/+1 counter on target attacking or blocking creature. That permanent phases out." and save a few words?

Good question lol.

I did forget about Top, but I’m not someone that ever really plays top, but it could be a good addition.

Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge - I’m not running a heavy amount of creatures and planeswalkers, so giving them affinity seems like it’s a bit so so, because there’s a lot of ramp anyway, the expensive cards are also some of the non-creature artifacts. His abilities are good but he is quite a lot of mana.

Jhoira's Familiar is 4 mana, Etherium Sculptor, Enthusiastic Mechanaut and Cloud Key are cheaper.

In one of the first drafts I was running Contraband Kingpin which is similar to artificers assistant but I cut it because i often found id rather cast other things in hand in the play tests.

Mystic Forge always struck me as a combo card but could be useful I suppose.

Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain is similar to the answer I gave for the Koi, Skyswimmer Koi draws off etb not cast so draws from Mishra’s tokens entering. The other 2 don’t really fit the deck I don’t think?

What would you cut for any of the suggestions?

Nice seeing another Mishra deck! I was going to post my own take on the artificer as well!

I'd recommend Treasure Mage as a tutor, he gets all your really high-cmc, powerful artifacts easily. I've also been thinking of finding space for Ruthless Technomancer as creature recursion.

I'd highly recommend Skullclamp in the 99, as you can clamp a token and sac it easily to draw an extra two cards! Rise and Shine is another Awakener/finisher.

While it's not as beefy, Riddlesmith is a cheaper-CMC Skyswimmer Koi.

Hope all these suggestions help, there are a lot of cool cards to abuse with Mishra's ability! Here is my take on Mishra if you want to check out my list as well!
