Card Art Easter Eggs

Flipping through cards I noticed the newly reprinted Frantic Search features a bird who looks an awful lot like Artificer's Assistant. The artist is not the same, but Search’s flavor text refers to Dominaria. Not a true Easter egg but certainly an interesting detail. Dragonlord Silumgar wears a necklace that upon closer inspection shows the magically preserved corpse of Tasigur, the Golden Fang. I always thought the dragon in the art of Ajani Steadfast was Sarkhan, as the next plane we saw after M15 was Tarkir. Can you think of other art that may include Easter eggs or other cleverly hidden details?

Grim Lavamancer and Obstinate Familiar are pretty nice.
Oh, and Savage Punch, Epic Confrontation and Really Epic Punch are simply epic.

Apparently there are a number of things in the new Frantic Search, but I can't remember all I was told - a couple of the books are like various Times or Grimoires etc.
Treasure Nabber has a few recognisable artifacts about his person.
I love the Krenko one, that is brilliant!

Jimmy_Chinchila, they were in the same set. Lavamancer was reprinted. :)
I'm not sure if this counts but Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle has a castle in the sky.

Suns_Champion, You mean Fblthp? He’s in quite a few cards, the others being Statute of Denial and Unquestioned Authority.
Also, in the card Treasure Trove’s art, you can see Hanna, Ship's Navigator, Karn, Silver Golem, Touchstone, Null Rod, Thran Tome, and Skyshaper.

GoblinsBeatElves I believe Legacy Weapon has a similar feature. Almost every object in the art is an actual magic card (can’t actually name them though, to lazy to look up)
Also, Stronghold Machinist and Stronghold Biologist basically have them same art, just shifted to the left and right

This is a really fun topic; thanks everyone! It got me searching for more. Here are a few ...
- Rampant Growth is apparently based on Hokusai's Great Wave off Kamagawa.
- The tiny sharknado in C14 Desert Twister (zooms here).
- The amazing tribute card that is Timbermare.
- MM3 Terminate vs. Sun Titan (even including the flavor text).

I have two more:

One Flame Wave, if you look closely, you can see a faint skull in the flames. Beside the skull, there’s a little guy surfing.

If you take Guardian Angel and Paralyze and put them diagonally from each other, the lightning bolt goes from one art and hits that guy in the other art.

Raid Bombardment and Unified Will are showing the same battle (Same with Knight of Grace and Knight of Malice)
Also, the cycle of ultimatums from alara each have a planeswalker hidden in them. (Brilliant Ultimatum has tezzeret, Cruel Ultimatum has bolas, Titanic Ultimatum has ajani, Violent Ultimatum has sarkaan, and elspeth can be seen in Clarion Ultimatum)

I love that you can see the Gobbos from Krenko's Command lurking in the background of Krenko, Mob Boss.
