@Shmu, @Schuesseled, Both of you are correct. I am still learning the more in-depth rulings.
"Heroic abilities will resolve before the spell that caused them to trigger." http://mtgsalvation.gamepedia.com/Heroic another reputable sourcehttp://blogs.magicjudges.org/rulestips/2013/09/heroic-triggers-resolve-before-the-spell/June 17, 2014 12:27 p.m.

I love this deck!!!!!!!! Alpha Authority and Madcap Skills is so amazing together

@Tornprince Aqueous Form produces the same effect you are raving about. Hexproof and +3/+0 are great, but it's 4 mana before you get both of them on a creature. Much easier to slap Aqueous Form on and then boost with Titan's Strength or even Ethereal Armor . That's turn 2 instead of turn 3, and gives the chance of a turn 3 or 4 kill if you have Boros Charm or Armed / Dangerous . The hexproof is great vs control stuff however isn't great vs aggro. That's why I wouldn't main board it, even if I included it at all.

could i run this deck without the Mana Confluence ? I want to run it but it is expensive...
June 18, 2014 10:03 p.m.
You could always run a deck without a certain card. That's choice! Mana Confluence is in this deck because it's 3 colors. It just makes everything flow better. Running without them just makes it less smooth. That goes for every deck. I run 2 Mana Confluence in a boros deck simply because it helps when you can have any mana. Plus it allows you to splash in your sideboard without having to have 3 land colors. Just some friendly advice... Invest in Mana Confluence . It is going to become a staple card in almost every deck. They will probobly stabilize in price after a little while. Prices are high right now because everyone is trying to get them. I opened 6 boxes of cards and only got 5 of them. So it's not an easy pull. But why would it be? It's been a while since City of Brass so can't make it too easy!

I think it's neat that you made a Naya version of this deck. Have you tried running Hopeful Eidolon at all? It could be a neat alternative card with all the enchantments in your deck and Ethereal Armor that could grab you a lot of life while doing decent damage.
I made a similar version of this deck that uses blue instead of green. American Heroics

A boros version of this deck runs just as well as the naya version while costing hundreds less. I cant see the reason in running green. The game is supposed to end by turn three or four. Most likely your opponent cant remove anything until turn two. so you only need to shield yourself from removal maybe twice at the most the entire match. Gods Willing will do the same job as Alpha Authority at less mana and with scry advantage plus at instant speeds. The unblockable combo could be fun with Madcap Skills but with a three turn game being the goal, a two mana cost enchantment will essentially deprive you of casting anything else that turn. Doing boros will take the need away for all those expensive lands too. Battlefield Forge will do the job of Mana Confluence . letting you take out all your other duals other than Sacred Foundry . I also like Hammerhand in this deck. sorry if you werent looking for feedback, that was just my two cents. The deck works the same with or without green. +1 will most likely run this as my boros heroic deck idea ive been looking for.

@Mogis_Mtg Thank you for the suggestions. I really like the idea of a free pump spell like Mutagenic Growth. I just realized that Rancor would be broken in this deck... Adding both now.

If you run some more red based fetches, Wild Nacatl becomes a good creature that's usually a 3/3 by turn 2.

not to be that guy, but... a deck aiming to go off on t3 like this should be running fetchlands to make sure you have the appropriate colors you need consistently. Wooded Foothills and Windswept Heath are pretty reasonably priced atm. Also the fastlands like Copperline Gorge and Razorverge Thicket could be of use

I realized I made a deck quite close to this a few days ago (having no knowledge of this deck lol) and am currently considering splashing green. Would you have any tips?
Thanks

love it except maybe get a card called Brute Force to replace Dragon Mantle or Madcap Skills because sneaking your creature through their defences becomes easier and your saving an extra mana for that turn to play something else like another creature for just in case or if you have two another Brute Force

also as a side note i'm building a turn 4 naya kill deck that's similiar maybe check it out for comparison as mine is super budget green white red double strike budget

@BrutalFear "heroic triggers and resolves as soon as it is targeted." No it triggers, and is added to the stack, at which point you can respond. You cast Giant Growth on Favored Hoplite , his ability triggers and is added to stack ahead of Giant Growth and in response I cast Lightning Strike and your hoplite dies.
