I mentioned using your list as a template, and I finished that list for Frontier, which you can find on my profile. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

@Snivy_ you're from Florida? If so, what county? I'm Pinellas county myself. I hope you did well during the GP!

while it is a sad feeling to see that this will be the end of the deck updates for U/R Wizards, I thoroughly enjoyed following your decklist updates. It has helped me rethink my own version of the UR Wizards deck; the current version on my profile actually went 2-1 today! I'm looking forward to your next build!

Then drsnailtrail you don't know of the hidden power that it consumes with Jump Start cards and the late-game-finishing hasty flyer.

How do you find the draw? I've been a fan of wizards since your last deck. I've essentially out everything together with a flavorful spin with Niv-Mizzet, Parun, any thoughts on the dragon/adeliz interaction?

Why only 3 goblins? The quantity of that card in my deck is one im slightly struggling with myself. Sure the higher chance of 8 lightning bolts in standard is great but i feel like theyre not good enough to run 4 of. Thoughts?

Yldraziw If my deck ever reaches its sixth land drop in a game, I’m already dead due to land flooding. I usually discard my lands to jump start Risk Factor late game so Niv won’t really do anything in my deck. Thanks for the suggestion though!

drsnailtrail I haven’t gotten to test much with the Goblin, but so far 3 has seemed like the right amount for my curve.

Sorcerer's Wand could be a good addition.

How would something like Plaguecrafter work for you? I was thinking it is a prime target for something like Revival. Might be better out of the SB against opponents who are running things like Carnage Tyrant , but just curious to hear if you considered it or if you decided not to include it why it didn't make the cut.

Deck looks sweet, but I noticed that your description includes Elenda, but she's not in the deck list. Seems like she'd be a good addition, if you can find space to cut.

Speaking of cuts, tell me more about the Journey to Eternity  Flip inclusion. It seems expensive to cast and activate the flip side at the added deckbuilding constraint of including green. Seems like this would be a good place to add Elenda and trim the list down to 60 cards from the current 61.

FastIsFaster the only reason of why I cut Plaguecrafter from the original build is because I personally believe that Priest of Forgotten Gods is better, and it is already a game-winner against decks running Carnage Tyrant . Priest, being a 2-drop, comes down early right after a common turn 1 Gutterbones , and followed by a turn 3 Ministrant of Obligation . I'm not saying that Plaguecrafter is a bad choice for the deck, but I couldn't see anything being cut to make room for it in the MB or SB. I could do some more testing with it, but my 3-drop slot is already packed with Judith, Ministrant, Midnight Reaper, and Journey.

Speaking of Journey to Eternity  Flip, Deruvid I have done a lot of testing with the green splash for just two copies of the Journey, and I believe that it very much worth it. I usually throw it on Ministrant of Obligation , a Spirit token, or Gutterbones to get the maximum reanimation effect value that it gives me. It can be hard to cast sometimes, but that will slowly get fixed as I continue to work on the manabase and the individual card selection. I haven't updated the description yet without Elenda, the Dusk Rose , because I am still testing without it. Both Teysa Karlov and Seraph of the Scales are much better 4-drops than it due to their better stats and overall effect of the game. Elenda was a trap to put in, always eating removal, getting exiled, and not being able to overpower the common 2/2s, 2/3s, and so on. I actually didn't know that my list was 61 cards; I think I put in 1 more land by accident and there are supposed to be only 23 lands, not 24.

Thank you for your suggestions!

Sweet deck! I love this deck and I always love aristocrats, but I think the manabase looks a bit weak. I would suggest either cutting the green as the only green card in the 75 is Journey to Eternity  Flip, or just cutting 3-4 more basic lands for green dual lands. +1!

Thank you DeviousPenguin666 for the +1! I am still working on the layout of the manabase and I do believe that I could use some more green in the manabase instead of basics. Journey to Eternity  Flip is very much worth the splash as it provides a constant reanimation combined with death triggers.

Subscribing to this Primer, I'm really glad you decided to take out journey and green in favor of going Mardu, I like adding red into the Orzhov mix because depending on how you decide to go about your use of red spells, you can implement some derp mechanics like speed and more tools for control. Be sure to update on your progress, I'd love to hear more!

Hi Ohhaiari! Thanks for the comment! I mostly use red to abuse the death and aggressive power of Judith, the Scourge Diva , and to maximize the power of Hero of Precinct One . Currently trying to push past Gold in MTGA, as the deck is still in progress and I have learned many things just by defeating top tier deck such as Control, Sultai, and Mono Red. Priest of Forgotten Gods has been an all-star, being able to permanently lock opponents out of playing creatures as long as it stays alive. Also if you have any suggestions for the Bedevil / Mortify split, I would love to hear them as I am having trouble deciding what the exact amount of each are.

Snivy__ Contempt is a definite keeper for all the reasons you've mentioned, as far as the Bedevil / Mortify debate is concerned I've been leaning toward bedevil simply because you're able to target planeswalkers. I also have been using the Ajani planeswalker with my mardu because it started with a vampire archetype.

I could go more into it if you'd like, just hit me up! Ari♥

I made a deck like this not to long ago. I cut Ministrant of Obligation for Dragon Egg and boy does it just ends games with a 2x death triggered 2/2 or 3/2 firebreathing lifelink vignette dragons. Try it out. It also help vs the pro white or black mare cards if your on the defensive.

I would also run at least one Mortify main bored vs search for ass cancer and Wilderness Reclamation

What about Pitiless Pontiff, Despark, Final Payment, Spark Harvest? Especially Pontiff, Pontiff has won me more matches than I can count.

Hey there! I fell in love with colorless nonsense when I saw Seth's list here. I'm playing that exact list, except with Inquisitive Puppet swapped straight across for Warping Wail (and a couple of sideboard changes). Someone in the comments suggested it as a gateway to get the right amounts of mana (like your test list including Hedron Crawler), and the added flexibility is very nice as well. I think Crawler is just a horrible card, and you only need the mana once to start chaining mana rocks; I've really enjoyed using Warping Wail so far.

Do you think Warping Wail could be a good add like whatever commenter that was recommended? Has Inquisitive Puppet been an important card to you? Speeding up the combo slightly seems better than delaying your opponent slightly, but I may be wrong.

What do you think of Karn, Scion of Urza ? I've been really unlucky revealing a land and a combo piece each time I activate his + ability, which makes the decision pretty easy for my opponent, but if I wasn't awful I'd probably get more value out of it lol. Seems like a very playable option, although maybe it's a cut for curve purposes.

Is Strionic Resonator really worth it? It seems kinda cutesy. When I'm comboing off, the only issue I have typically is running out of action and flipping lands off of Mystic Forge. Does it keep you going often enough to warrant a spot?

I kinda forgot that Sea Gate Wreckage existed lol, which might help with that last point.

Do you think that Sorcerous Spyglass is an include over Pithing Needle ? Hopefully by the time that we're raiding our board with Karn, we'll know what to target, and that one extra mana can be killer.
