This is a (with a splash of ) kraken gimmick deck for modern.The card I try to build around is Quest for Ula's Temple. To procc this the deck mostly use big and epic kraken/leviathan creatures.

I use scry-cards for ordering them in a correct order I want to draw them, such as Augury Owl, Serum Visions and Mulldrifter.

Call to the Kindred and Impromptu Raid also helps to establish the dominance with the 'quacken'. I am a bit indecisive and want to have as many of the 'quackens' in my deck as possible.

As for Wrexial, the Risen Deep it doesn't matter if he costs I can cast him for free either way using the enchantments.

It also contains cards that delay the opponent, before you can get out any of your big fellas, such as Whelming Wave and Bident of Thassa.

In the sideboard I have another Bident of Thassa if I encounter a deck with destroy artifacts; Wall of Frost and Kraken Hatchling for heavy aggro decks; Also Negate if the opponent has some annoying spells.

I am also thinking of putting in some spells that copy the big krakens for cheaper costs.

I am always open for suggestions, so please comment if you can come up with any ideas to improve the deck! :D
