You have several creatures who get pumped up by hand size. I would actually go with Arcanis as general. That way you will always have an option that gets you 3 cards a turn.

He is a good choice but its kind of a toss up, because with him out I can draw the cards but I like having Soramaro there waiting to come out when I have a ton of cards in hand. Its kind of tough choice in my opinion. I suppose its all how you look at it. Tomorrow is also a decent choice as general in this deck. I don't draw as much but I can throw less needed cards to the bottom.

Mind UnboundMTG Card: Mind Unbound might be interesting as long as you can avoid milling yourself.

Drop the Darksteel IngotMTG Card: Darksteel Ingot and Mind's EyeMTG Card: Mind's Eye and add in a High TideMTG Card: High Tide and Mind Over MatterMTG Card: Mind Over Matter and watch Arcanus win the game for you.

Tomorrow, Azami's FamiliarMTG Card: Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar would really help you net some advantage withthe cards you draw and get some combo pieces out faster. plus you wont be milling yourself. and i'd suggest quite a bit of ramping, artificial, to get arcanis out, and be able to use his bounce ability sooner.

Run Tamiyo, the Moon Sage MTG Card: Tamiyo, the Moon Sage . If you pop her ultimate, you'd go infinite with Mind Over MatterMTG Card: Mind Over Matter. I don't see any outlets to do anything with that, but it's a possibility.

@JamesKrell I purposefully put in a few ways to avoid self mill, so Mind UnboundMTG Card: Mind Unbound could work. I may add it in later. as for tamiyo, Ill wait until Avacyn comes out to think about adding her in. It is a nice combo, but it could be tough to pull off.

@crackrabbit but I love having indestructible mana rocks. It's though to pass up. Mind's EyeMTG Card: Mind's Eye however is out being replaced by Archmage AscensionMTG Card: Archmage Ascension by Bendebec's request.

@gheridarigaaz I already have Tomorrow in the deck...

I basically ran this deck at one point, except I used Azami, Lady of ScrollsMTG Card: Azami, Lady of Scrolls and had Arcanis in the deck. By using any of the Eldrazi lords, like your Kozilek, Butcher of TruthMTG Card: Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, you go infintie with your card draw with Mind Over MatterMTG Card: Mind Over Matter and never have to worry about self mill. With this set up you effectively have infinite turns, after that is just finding a kill mech like Psychosis CrawlerMTG Card: Psychosis Crawler or other beaters you have (nice choices by the way). You can also take a slightly more passive route with your Jaces or even find a Supreme InquisitorMTG Card: Supreme Inquisitor.

Originally I was going to base the deck around Lorthos, the TidemakerMTG Card: Lorthos, the Tidemaker because hes one of my favorite cards ever. But then I decided to go a different route and do a deck that wins off of drawing a ton of cards.

Thousand-Year ElixirMTG Card: Thousand-Year Elixir has great synergy with your deck.

Maze of IthMTG Card: Maze of Ith is pretty good, and it's rumored to be in the upcoming From the Vault: Realms.

Also, Mana LeakMTG Card: Mana Leak, CancelMTG Card: Cancel? That's typically a poor choice in EDH. I'd rather run DissipateMTG Card: Dissipate, Spell CrumpleMTG Card: Spell Crumple, HinderMTG Card: Hinder, or even Power SinkMTG Card: Power Sink.

@SexyNoodle90 ooooooooh I really like that

@Lhurgyof I agree about Maze of IthMTG Card: Maze of Ith but as I said earlier its like a 40$ card and this deck is already kinda pricey. As for the counters, I'm new to making EDH decks so I just picked some of my favorites from other formats so ill definitely use some of those other suggestions.

April 23, 2012 1:49 a.m.

Niiiiiice!!! I should add some of my EDH decks on here soon...

I think everyone should build some. It's a great way to learn about a lot of different cards. Considering you're going to have roughly 70-90 different cards depending on the deck you really have to look at all of your options. Its a great format to learn the cards. But thanks! Definitely put some up.

Ah, okay. I just wanted to let you know it might be in the next FtV so you could pick up a foil copy cheap.

Lightning GreavesMTG Card: Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot BootsMTG Card: Swiftfoot Boots would be wonderful in here to help keep your critters safe.

Psychosis CrawlerMTG Card: Psychosis Crawler combos well with Teferi's Puzzle BoxMTG Card: Teferi's Puzzle Box.

General, I find Library of LengMTG Card: Library of Leng to be better than SpellbookMTG Card: Spellbook in EDH.

But in a pinch I can transmute Tolaria WestMTG Card: Tolaria West and grab SpellbookMTG Card: Spellbook which is nice.
