Sideboard

Welcome!
As soon as Aether Revolt hit the ground running I started making a bunch of new decks for standard. This is the best deck I could come up with.
The deck itself is built around Inspiring Statuary and ramping towards big creatures to finish the game. I'm still testing this deck, so far this is the best version I've got. I'll keep updating the deck until it is as refined as possible. Please share your opinions, thanks!

Most important parts of the deck are:
I don't really run a lot of removal mainboard, because creatures in this deck block and trade really well.

A couple of Fumigate, Immolating Glare and Quarantine Field seems like enough.

Quarantine Field can really go nuts in this deck, it's also our only noncreature way to deal with planeswalkers.

It's worthwhile noting out legendary creatures in this deck because they can be fetched with Thalia's Lancers.
  1. Gisela, the Broken Blade, as a 1 of. It's quite shitty topdeck and dies to a ton of removal.
  2. Bruna, the Fading Light, also as a 1 of. It is a great topdeck but it's expensive and there are better cards for 7 mana.
  3. Kozilek, the Great Distortion, I was curious about him. After a few games I think he's not worth the slot and probably will be replaced with two copies of Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger
  4. Linvala, the Preserver, I really like her but no reason to run more than 1.
  5. World Breaker, we can't fetch him with Thalia's Lancers but he can get rid of really pesky stuff and return himself from the yard.
  • Sram's Expertise, probably the biggest dissapointment for me in this deck. It looks really good on paper, however during my tests it performed rather poorly, usually making just 3 servos. I'll keep it in the deck for a bit because I'm sure this card has huge potential.

  • Lifecrafter's Bestiary, I'm really happy with this card. Can be searched with Trophy Mage when i no longer need Inspiring Statuary and gives me gas late game, maybe I should even consider it a core card.

  • Thalia's Lancers, tutoring our big guys, a real bummer is that they die to Grasp of Darkness, but otherwise, pretty good.

  • - 12x Plains, white seems like a go-to color with Inspiring Statuary.- 4x Aether Hub, great land. I'd prefer at least 2 other nonland cards that give energy alongside with it, but works just fine alone too.- 4x Spire of Industry, for the amount of colors we're running, this is the best land in the deck.- 4x Holdout Settlement, this land actually still surprises me how good it is. Really like it.
    1. Endbringer, looks pretty nice, it's flexible, gotta at least try it.
    2. Elder Deep-Fiend, Flash on this guy makes all the difference, may work.
    3. Angel of Deliverance, Delirium shouldn't be to hard to hit. Might work out.
    4. Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, will replace Kozilek, the Great Distortion with him if he fails me one more time.
    5. Void Winnower, too expenisve and dies to easily, don't think I'll even end up testing it.
    6. Exquisite Archangel, this would be bonkers if it went into graveyard instead, I don't think it's playable besides few sideboard matchups, even then, there are other cards that perform better.
