Lantern of Insight will let you choose the right target for Grenzo's second mode and if an opponent would be drawing something amazing, you can always shuffle it away if need be. Also, Reckless Bushwhacker is a good damage card if you're already running Goblin Bushwhacker.

Great deck! +1!
I'm going to build Grenzo, Havoc Raiser to. He should be very fun to play.

All good suggestions. My gut tells me that Menace is a mechanic I want to try and maximize the use of in here, thus the maybe board

A few Learnings from last night:
Needed more land. Up from 33 to 36 we go. Cut Goblin Offensive, Bedlam, and Chandra, Torch of Defiance to make room
It's easy to start fast... Like second turn fast, so remember to leave mana open whenever you can until you've attacked
It's easy to get disrupted by board wipes, so avoid going too wide. I think this furthers the case for ditching cheap, fast Goblin swarm, in favour of more evasive creatures with abilities like Menace, Flying , and Unblockable
Grenzo, Havoc Raiser is seriously underestimated, for now at least, but once you make a splash, he really attracts hate... Play according to a pace you can maintain

I'm not sure if you are a fan of infinite combos, but if you are, I'd recommend adding Nim Deathmantle and Ashnod's Altar.

Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Altar + any creature that produces 2 or more tokens (Siege-Gang Commander, Beetleback Chief, Chancellor of the Forge) will create infinite tokens. What you do is sacrifice a token and the token producer to the altar, producing 4 colorless mana. Then in response to the token producer dying, use that 4 mana to bring it back to the battlefield with the Deathmantle. This creates as many tokens as you wish. Trust me, it works.
Also, you might want to add Purphoros, God of the Forge.

Oh, ok. I got that part but wasn't thinking about infinite tokens, so much as mana, and wasn't sure what I'd do with it all.

I sure hope you had that Imperial Recruiter sitting around! Seems like an extremely unnecessary $300 to be playing with. Other than that, deck looks good! Thoughts on Braid of Fire?

SMOKE 'EM IF YA GOT' EM, right?
I can't see Braid being too useful since that mana goes away after upkeep. I can't see how I'd spend it wisely, unless I run something like Gemstone Array to store it for later.

- maybe Skullclamp for more CA
- Magus of the Moon
- Lightning Berserker
- Grinning Ignus - for more mana

Matrixxx999: Some good suggestions, although, why Lightning Berserker?

Just added Yellow Scarves Cavalry, seems like a good card for Grenzo, what do You think?
Oh, and it seems I forgot to answer your question about Berserker, sorry. It is just I thought it would be a good idea to use "dash" with Grenzo. More cards in hand (for discard for examle) and less pain when someone drops wrath.

This deck kinda fell off my radar a while back, but I think it's high time I brought it back out to play. I see your point about Dash Matrixxx999

I'd honestly categorize this as a control deck too. Lots of good deck manipulation.
