Maybeboard

The new Magus of the Bridge is a... close approximation of the original Bridge from Below. He kind of misses the card's main point of doing literally nothing while in play, but to somewhat make up for it he is a 4/4 for three mana! Also unlike the original enchantment, his mana cost actually matters and that means you have reason to hurry him into play. No better way than the classic Dark Ritual, allowing you to rush the Magus out on turn one to immediately take advantage of any of your creatures dying.

Problem is... the Magus comes with a big, built-in off switch, and that's him going to the shadow realm as soon as any of your opponent's creatures kick the bucket. Sidestep any risk of this with the hatepiece Leyline of the Void, which ensures no creature will ever see your opponent's grave and can be in play even before a turn-one Magus. Fellow newcomer Dauthi Voidwalker does the same while also putting some (probably) unblockable pressure on your opponent and possibly even giving you access to some extra firepower.

Now how do you capitalize on the Magus's ability? Carrion Feeder and Gravecrawler are the perfect duo for the job, giving you a 2/2 zombie token for every you pay, while giving you an enormous Carrion Feeder along the way. Vampiric Rites is another sacrifice outlet, giving you cards from your Gravecrawlers, and a little life to offset the bonus that any Undead Augurs might want to hitch on. Diregraf Colossus likewise can earn you a zombie token every time you bring back the Gravecrawler, giving you a backup plan for the Magus.

Want a major payoff? The Magus is triple-black, and both the Leyline and Dauthi that support him are double-black. In fact, there are a number of double-black cards running around in here, and that sounds to me like the perfect outlet for devotion. Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx can earn you boatloads of mana even early on with the Leyline coming free and Dark Ritual helping to hurry your cards out, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel can blow a player's head off in case of a stalemate. Always nice to have a backup plan!
