Definitely a bit janky and perhaps a bit stupid, but also potentially quite fun to play and maybe, with some tuning and a bit of luck, this could take a FNM. Probably not, but maybe. Mostly I like Elder Deep-Fiend and wanted to build with it and the idea of a Simic deck with early ramp, board control and value with ETB and LTB effects, and some recursive elements seemed like the way to go. I am considering other creatures with Flash and useful abilities or persist/undying that can get multiple uses. I had pretty much all of this on hand but a more budget buold could easily be accomplished by changing out the Breeding Pool s for Hinterland Harbors or even a couple of Islands and a Forest. If either of these changes are made I would reverse the numbers on Wood Elves and Farhaven Elf .
