Maybeboard

Artifact (1)

This deck is designed to be a rotation proof artifact based deck. Started out with this deck after drafting a Tezzeret, Artifice Master at my local game store. This deck needs a Karn, Scion of Urza obviously, but unfortunately I can not convince my wife he is worth the 30 euro's. Looking at other finishers for this deck I hope to have found it in the combination of Traxos, Scourge of Kroog and Voltaic Servant, backed up by the The Antiquities War whilst going wide with the cheap artifacts.

After thinking to have found a strategy to finish the game I needed to make sure I would come to finish the game and looking if there is a way to control the board. I build this deck mono-blue as I do not have the U/W dual lands if I would like the deck to be U/W. This would allow the deck to have excess to cards like Ixalan's Binding and board wipes. Now I do have the U/B dual lands but I have the Fatal Push which will rotate and do not have the Vraska's Contempt. Murder and Cast Down are cards to consider though.

So as said mono-blue at this time, hoping to control the board using counter magic like Negate, Essence Scatter, Syncopate (which is bad if you're not playing other instant spells to use your open mana on if there is nothing to effectively counter). Sorcerous Spyglass is another card to make sure game changing card become less useful. Cards like Arguel's Blood Fast   become less useful.

At this time the deck needs to be playtested at FNM and hopefully I can further evolve the deck to a FNM winning deck. Thank you for taking the time to look at this deck and if you like it please upvote or let me know.

If you have any suggestions for this deck and how to improve the deck even further I am open for Feedback.

Update 1: Some minor changes to the deck. Took out the two Skilled Animator's and inserted two timesThaumatic Compass
Also took out one Sorcerous Spyglass and one Fountain of Renewel and inserted two Silent Gravestone. Last change was one Island out Arch of Orazca.

Inserted the Thaumatic Compass   in order to provide an instant speed mana sink when counter magic is up but not nessesary and provider some late game protection. The Silent Gravestone came in to protect against the graveyard interaction currently within the format. Might come out after rotation and enter the sideboard.
