My Legacy Affinity deck.
Having had great success with it in Modern, and it's ability to transfer over to Legacy so easily I decided to make the transition.
I recently (01/03/15) took this to a local Tournament, wasn't sure about it's competitive applications but thought what the hell. I ended up making it into the Top 8 with a 4-0-1 record (We decided to draw at the end so we would both ensure we made Top 8) and then won the first round of Top after which we split the prize pool at Top 4.
Match ups as follows
Round 1 - MUD - 2-1 - Wrecked game 1 by Trinisphere, swung big games 2 & 3 before he could get there. Not much in the sideboard that helps.
Round 2 - Burn - 2-1 - Very much a race, who goes first makes a big difference. Chalice of the Void for 1 was good here.
Price of Progress
wrecks me big.
Round 3 - Death & Taxes - 2-0 - He had some slow draws and the hate didn't do a lot of work against me.
Round 4 - DeathBlade - 2-1 - True-Name Nemesis with Umezawa's Jitte raced out with me in game 2 netting him a VERY close win. The other games I just swung big and fast.
Bonus Round - Infect - 1-1 - This was the other guy I hadn't played in the top 4. Very much a who goes first situation here. Chalice of the Void for 1 and Whipflare were the SB choices here.
Highlights - Ensoul Artifact was HUGE for me. I wouldn't increase the numbers, but 2 seems a brilliant amount for the card. The rest of the deck functions as normal. Still not decided on
Unified Will
in the sideboard against Spell Pierce, but I only drew
Unified Will
once, and it did help in the sitatuion against DeathBlade.

Creatures
Ornithopter - cost artifact. Not much to be said.
Memnite - See above. No flying.
Vault Skirge - Flying and Lifelink plus can be cast for .
Arcbound Ravager - This guy lets us get some value back on our artifacts and can be used to create a win from nowhere if our opponent is tapped out / has no removal in hand.
Etched Champion - I've found this guy to be less effective in Legacy, so I've dropped him down to 2 slots. Still a good card however.
Master of Etherium - Lots of power in this guy, suddenly all your guys are getting pumped and able to hit for a lot more. Get's huge with Cranial Plating
Steel Overseer - Pumps all our little guys, can drop him T1 with an Ancient Tomb or Mox Opal, drop and an Artifact land to pump big quick.
Utility
Win Conditions
Mana Base
Seat of the Synod, Vault of Whispers - Lands that are also artifacts. Although weaker than normal basic lands, these guys add so much value to the deck. There's a reason these guys aren't legal in Modern!
Inkmoth Nexus - This little guy can give us a win condition when combined with Arcbound Ravager. It's not overly difficult to find 9 more artifacts to sacrifice, letting this guy swing for the win.
Ancient Tomb - Acceleration like a boss, and let's us cast Chalice of the Void for on T1 which can just shut some decks down.
Glimmervoid
- Let's us cast our multiple colours from the sideboard and main.

Tezzeret Win
Turn 1 - Artifact Land, Ornithopter/Memnite, Mox Opal,
Springleaf Drum
, Vault Skirge
Turn 2 - Artifact Land, Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas, use the +1, drop
Turn 3 - Swing for 2/3 with drops + Signal Pest, drop any remaining artifacts as possible. -4 Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas for the win.
Cranial Win
Turn 1 - Ancient Tomb, Ornithopter, Mox Opal, Etched Champion
Turn 2 - Artifact Land, Cranial Plating, Equip to Champion, Signal Pest, Ornithopter. Swing for 9.
Turn 3 - Swing with the team for 12. You could also play more things here if needed.
Sideboard
Chalice of the Void - Great with Ancient Tomb, also combos on T1 with an artifact land, Ornithopter and Mox Opal to get down for 1 asap. Can just shut some decks down.
Ethersworn Canonist - Shuts down Storm decks along with many other Combo decks trying to play a lot from hand.
Rest in Peace - Shuts down graveyard decks and stops cards from even getting into it in the first place.
Unified Will
- My choice over Spell Pierce, with our ability to flood the board, this is a really great way to counter our opponent. Good against combo decks and any other decks with intricate plays.
Whipflare - Beats on Elves, Delver, Goblins. Does lots, doesn't touch us. Pyroclasm for Artifacts!
