This is my take on black devotion. The main idea is to build a board state and generate lots of mana to either cast multiple Vein Ripper/Phyrexian Obliterator to pressure my opponent or use Torment of Hailfire. This deck is best suited for FNM.

I had to remove Necrodominance due to it preventing the triggers from both Vein Ripper and The Meathook Massacre. Instead I have gone with Sign in Blood for card draw.

I no longer run Gray Merchant of Asphodel due to it being too slow.
