Deafening Clarion is great with vanguard. You can take 8, board whipe, swing for 6, and get 6 hp back. Even better whith Whisperer around. More hp, more card filtering.

Adanto Vanguard is great vs Assassin's Trophy . Save her, get land. Oops...

Banefire resolves a problem I had vs control: the incapacity to finish off opponent who has counterpells.

B plan post sideboarding is to manage the board and kill with value creatures if plan A doesn't work.
